Savannah Chrisley says the dynamics of her relationship with her parents has changed considerably since their release from prison in May.

The almost 28-year-old, who changed her appearance with plastic surgery procedures, has been living with her parents Todd, 56, and Julie, 52, since their pardon from President Donald Trump, and while it’s been great, it’s also been difficult to re-adjust.

‘It’s a challenge, especially to all of us being under one roof,’ the reality star, often known as MAGA Barbie said on her podcast, Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley on Tuesday.

‘It’s great. I love it. I would have begged for this a year ago, but it’s a lot,’ she told her listeners. ‘It’s a lot.’

‘Imagine living with your parents again after being out of the house for 11 or 12 years,’ she said, reiterating, ‘That’s a lot.’

Giving an example of their differences in lifestyle, Savannah explained, ‘I like to go have me a glass of wine or a cocktail. I mean, I am 28… almost 28 years old.’

‘Todd Chrisley does not agree with that,’ she said of the Chrisley Knows Best star.

Pointing out that she was an adult of legal drinking age, the real estate agent contended that she can easily ‘go and rebuy them.’

It seems her parents still think of her as their little girl.

‘It’s just interesting because now I’m a full-fledged adult,’ she told her audience.

‘I have not relied on anyone to pay my bills, support me, guide me. I’ve done it all on my own. So we’ve just had a little bit of rub.’

In the episode, which was recorded sometime in July, she revealed her parents would be staying in her house and she would be moving on August 1.

In spite of the slight friction, the GoodGirlRX founder said since their reunion, ‘it’s been the best time ever because we get to sit and talk at whatever time we want. We’re joking on each other, laughing, making up for lost time. So for that, I am extremely grateful.’

Todd and Julie Chrisley were sentenced to 12 years and seven years in prison respectively after they were convicted on multiple counts of tax evasion, bank and wire fraud and conspiracy in 2022.

The jury ruled unanimously they had used $36 million in fraudulent loans to fund their lavish lifestyle.  The couple have always maintained their innocence in spite of the damning evidence against them.

Savannah used her celebrity to campaign for Trump during the 2024 presidential campaign, to gain favor with him.
