Karl-Anthony Towns delivered a standout performance on Tuesday night, recording 26 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists for his first triple-double in over three years as the New York Knicks powered past the Dallas Mavericks, 128-113, at Madison Square Garden.

Josh Hart also made history, finishing with 16 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists, marking the first time in franchise history that two Knicks teammates recorded triple-doubles in the same game.
Hart’s performance carried even greater significance—as his ninth triple-double of the season set a new franchise record, according to the NBA.

The veteran guard was highly efficient, shooting 6-of-9 from the field, including a perfect 2-of-2 from beyond the arc, while also tallying two steals.
Towns dominated early, pouring in 24 points before halftime, helping New York establish control. Meanwhile, OG Anunoby led the team in scoring with 35 points, as the Knicks showcased their offensive cohesion by dishing out 40 assists on 53 made field goals.
On the other side, Naji Marshall put up a career-best 38 points for Dallas while grabbing seven rebounds, providing one of the few bright spots for the struggling Mavericks.
Brandon Williams added 22 points, but Dallas failed to keep pace in the second half, getting outscored 60-45. Anthony Davis, who recently returned to action, was held out of the contest as the Mavericks continue to manage his workload.
Dallas have now dropped 10 of its last 13 games, falling to 35-38 on the season. The slump has seen it slip out of the play-in picture, with Phoenix leapfrogging the Mavs into 10th place following its fourth consecutive win. With only a handful of games remaining, the Mavericks face an uphill battle to reclaim a postseason spot.
The Knicks, meanwhile, secured their second straight victory, improving to 45-26. They remain third in the Eastern Conference, trailing the second-place Boston Celtics by 7.5 games but holding a three-game cushion over the fourth-place Indiana Pacers.
With the postseason looming, New York appears poised for a deep playoff push, building momentum at the right time.
