Justin Bieber showed off a striking new look while out in Los Angeles on Thursday, hours before the release of his new album.

The Baby hitmaker, 31, rocked a full bushy beard and a closely shaved head as he left the Jim Henson studio in the passenger seat of a black Denali.

The father-of-one also had a green star-shaped acne sticker on his forehead, as well as a prominent nose piercing and a gold earring.

His eyes were shielded by a pair of silver-framed sunglasses, and he maintained a serious expression.

Earlier in the day the pop star announced his new album, Swag II, will be released tonight at midnight – less than eight weeks after debuting it’s predecessor, Swag, on July 11.

Meanwhile his wife Hailey Bieber, 28, was busy promoting her Rhode skincare brand in New York on Thursday, after it officially launched at Sephora stores across the United States and Canada.

She was pictured looking chic in an all-black look at the Rhode x Sephora event at The Twenty Two Hotel.

She rocked a black leather jacket over a skintight black dress, with her hair pulled into a slicked back bun.

Rhode also shared a snap of Hailey looking glamorous in a strapless black gown as she celebrated her latest venture.

Meanwhile Justin made his album announcement on his Instagram, flooding his account with various posts promoting the new album around the world.

The announcement may not come as a complete surprise, considering a ‘Swag II’ billboard had been on display in London in recent days – however this appears to be the first time a release date has been unveiled.

‘swag II TONIGHT MIDNIGHT,’ Justin announced on his Instagram along with what appeared to be the album artwork.

The cover, done all in pink, declared ‘SWAG II’ at the center of the photo in the same font as the first album. It also contained a parental advisory for explicit content.

The album also appears to feature a photo of Justin and his family, with a snap of the singer with his wife Hailey and their son Jack Blues accompanying the cover.

The singer’s surprise seventh studio album, SWAG, was released to critical acclaim on July 11.

Several songs made mention of his public persona, personal struggles, and his commitment to his wife Hailey and their baby son.

There is also a theme of interludes featuring comedian Druski, during which Justin engages in candid ‘therapy sessions’ with the social media star.

The album also appeared to allude to a challenging time between the couple, who have been married since 2018.

After months of rumors about the state of the A-list couple’s marriage amid concern for Justin’s well-being he vowed to ‘change’ for his wife following a rocky period.

In the album’s second track, Daisies, Justin appeared to be singing about him and his wife being at loggerheads and failing to communicate clearly.

The lyrics read: ‘Throwin’ petals like, “Do you love me or not?” / Head is spinnin’, and it don’t know when to stop / You said “Forever,” babe, did you mean it or not? / Hold on, hold on.

In track 10 of the 21-song track list, titled Walking Away, Justin sang about the couple ‘taking a break’ and ‘testing patience.’

‘Days go by so fast, don’t wanna spend them with you / So tell me why you’re throwing stones at my back / You know I’m defenseless,’ he sings in the first verse.

‘Girl, we better stop before we say some s*** / We’ve been testing our patience / I think we better off if we just take a break,’ he continues.

But the chorus and subsequent verses paint a picture of their enduring love despite strife.

‘Baby, I ain’t walking away / You were my diamond / Gave you a ring / I made you a promise / I told you, I’d change / It’s just human nature / These growing pains / And baby, I ain’t walking away,’ he sang in the chorus.

Ahead of the album’s release, Hailey had some choice words for their fans as she took to social media to promote it.

She took aim at the ‘losers’ who’ve speculated about their relationship as she re-posted a photo of her husband’s massive Swag billboard in NYC’s Times Square, captioned: ‘Is it finally clocking to you f***ing losers?’

She appeared to suggest that Justin’s recent bizarre behavior wasn’t the result of any marriage troubles but due to him being hard at work on his long-awaited music, which he partially recorded in Iceland back in April.

The couple celebrated their son Jack’s first birthday on August 22.

They have maintained the tot’s privacy by opting not to share his face with the world, strategically only sharing photos that give fans small glimpses of him.

The heir made his music video debut days ago as he appeared in the visualizer for his dad’s hit song Yukon.
