“The moment we’ve been waiting for…” Sophie addressed the nation, wearing a show-stopping, plunging yellow gown.

“Gabby, the envelope please.”

But this Grand Finale came with a cruel, history-making twist.

During the final week, ex-Islander Dylan “became the first person in the history of Love Island anywhere” to leave with $20,000 ‘stolen’ from the original winners’ prize pool of $50,000.

Tonight, the winners would win $30,000.

“Jaide and Jotham, Yana and Kye, and Sharn and Ross, three incredible couples but only one can win,” Sophie teased.

Who won Love Island Australia 2025?

“The winners of Love Island Australia 2025 are… Yana and Kye!”

Yana, 21, and Kye, 22, had received the most votes from the Australian public as Season 7’s favourite couple.

The couple embraced with a sweet kiss before the remaining Islanders ran over to celebrate the pair.

As the fireworks went off, Sophie pulled them to the side and asked how winning felt.

“You just won Love Island!” she cheered.

“I’m shocked,” reacted Kye.

“That’s crazy,” grinned Yana.

“What a journey you’ve had,” Soph said. “If I told you a year ago you’d be standing here winning Love Island and together, what would you say?”

“Bullshit!” Yana laughed.

It was a rollercoaster ride for Yana and Kye to make the Grand Finale.

Yana entered the Villa to find love and move on from her ex, only for her ex Kye to crash the Villa, rekindle a spark and test their relationship like never before.

“THAT’S MY EX!” shouted Yana as Kye walked through the gates in Episode 4 as a Bombshell. “I’m shaking”.

Kye quickly formed a connection with ex-Islander Lacey, their PDA left Yana “feeling sick”. But, she still cared for Kye and in a jaw-dropping decision, saved him from being Dumped

“It was probably my hardest decision in here,” Yana reflected. “Him being here isn’t something I would have ever pictured but I think that it honestly happened for a reason.”

The moment was a turning point for the couple as sparks slowly reignited.

But just as they enjoyed a night out in the Hideaway, temptation came calling in the form of the infamous Hotel Amor.

The events of Hotel Amor was “the biggest challenge” in their relationship. Yana, who was on a date with Dylan, respected the boundaries they set. While Kye’s ‘secret kiss’ with Emma destroyed any chance he had with Yana.

At least until he made his wrongs right.

And so, Season 7 of Love Island Australia has come to an end.

The Islanders were found guilty on all accounts for committing wicked sins for an entire season – guilty of spying, cheating, greed and… love.

What a ride!
