Whispers of Montreal’s pursuit of Kyrou have only intensified as new reports surface, suggesting that the Blues are eyeing some of the Canadiens’ most promising young talents.

As the stakes rise and the rumor mill spins faster, the question isn’t just if a deal will happen—but what it might cost, and how it could reshape the futures of both franchises. The Jordan Kyrou situation is heating up for Montreal Canadiens fans. While we mentioned it recently, there’s now even more smoke surrounding the storyline. New reports suggest the Blues have strong interest in top Habs prospects Michael Hage and David Reinbacher.

We now know that the Blues want to trade Kyrou, the Canadiens really want to acquire him, and Kyrou himself would be open to a trade to Montreal.

The only remaining question is.. the asking price!

On that topic, Maxime Truman has revealed some interesting new information.

The St. Louis Blues are reportedly very interested in David Reinbacher and Michael Hage, according to DansLesCoulisses

Let’s just say it’s more logical and realistic than what a journalist from St. Louis recently mentioned.

No, Kent Hughes is not going to give up Cole Caufield for Kyrou, and even less likely Nick Suzuki!

However, there are two other young players who reportedly interest the Blues quite a bit.

“From what I hear, the Blues hold David Reinbacher and Michael Hage in very high regard, but Kent Hughes would prefer not to trade either of those two young players.”

Now that’s intriguing.

Personally, I really don’t want Hughes to trade Hage or Reinbacher, but at the same time, we’re never going to land a player like Jordan Kyrou by only offering up guys like Joshua Roy and Owen Beck.

In short, we’ll keep monitoring this for you, but more and more interesting information is starting to come out!
