Robert Irwin has sensationally called out The Morning Show’s Larry Emdur.

The nature conservationist, who is currently competing in the 34th season of Dancing With The Stars US, was interviewed by Dean McCarthy following this week’s ‘hot’ salsa with partner Witney Carson.

‘You know Kylie and Larry?’ Dean asked the 21-year-old while pointing at the camera.

Robert didn’t hold back, catapulting into a monologue directed at the Gold Logie winner.

‘Larry Emdur. Larry bloody Emdur. The man, the myth, the legend,’ he began.

‘I’ll tell you one thing Lazza, we’re getting on a “Larry Emdur” tonight. One hundred per cent,’ he told the camera, referring to the rhyming slang for ‘going on a bender’.

When asked if he had any dance moves he could teach Larry for his next night out, Robert admitted that the breakfast show host needed no help.

‘I couldn’t teach him anything. I know the reputation. I know the stories, I’ve heard them all! So, mate, Larry, you’ve got that covered,’ he quipped.

This isn’t the first time Robert has ignited a friendly feud with a Channel Seven star.

Sam Mac has been engaged in a hilarious tiff with Robert since 2022 after the conservationist filled in for him on Sunrise while he took personal leave.

At the time, Robert spoke about his new gig to co-host Natalie Barr and joked: ‘Sam Mac, I am coming for ya!’

Sam later called Robert a ‘snake in the grass’ and joked the reality TV star was trying to steal his job on the popular Channel Seven breakfast show.

Fast forward to April, when the weatherman was trolled by fans of his ‘nemesis’ after the wildlife warrior stripped down to his underwear for a sultry Bonds photoshoot.

Sam posted a hilarious clip to social media in which he was seen scrolling through several news stories written about Robert’s steamy photos.

He looked incredibly frustrated as he read headlines from Sunrise and Bonds promoting the smouldering ad campaign.

The media star did not mince words in the caption: ‘Stop sending it to me. Stop tagging me in it. Just let me live my life. #Nemesis.’

After wowing judges and fans last week with a pulse-raising tango, Robert and his partner Witney, 31, smouldered again on Tuesday night, this time with a hot salsa.

This week’s TikTok theme saw the couple dance to the viral 2024 Tommy Richman hit Million Dollar Baby.

The routine began with Witney sitting on Robert’s shoulders before the wildlife warrior guided her to the floor and into an embrace.

The pair looked all business as they energetically swayed their hips, with Robert sporting a serious ‘blue steel’ look that would make Derek Zoolander green with envy.

As the pair continued their sizzling routine, Robert dialled up the raunch factor another notch by ripping his shirt off – much to the delight of the roaring crowd.

Robert was not afraid to flaunt his envy-inducing six-pack, and the roars of approval continued until the routine ended.

Judge Carrie Ann Inaba was obviously enamoured with the routine, and she wasted no time in gushing over Robert’s performance.

‘Robert Irwin is all grown up, wow, you’re making me feel like a grandmother,’ she said. ‘Put your shirt back on. Great performance.’

Fellow judge Bruno Tonioli agreed, likening Robert to fellow Australian gym enthusiast Chris Hemsworth.

The pair did face some criticism, however, with Derek Hough criticising the routine as ‘rigid.’

‘You’re strong, assertive, a great performer – but I wasn’t fooled by them abs,’ he said, which elicited boos from the audience.

Robert and Witney walked away with an overall score of 22, meaning that they slipped into third place in the competition.
