The Montreal Canadiens organization has confirmed the signing of a historic long-term partnership with TSN and RDS, two of the biggest sports broadcasters in Canada.
An important announcement has just come from the Montreal Canadiens.
This agreement will ensure the Tricolore’s presence on these networks for many more years to come.
TSN and RDS retain regional broadcasting rights for the Montreal Canadiens
According to information shared by RDS, the new deal guarantees regional broadcasts of Canadiens games throughout Quebec and Atlantic Canada.
Also according to RDS and TSN, a total of 50 games will be presented on TSN and 45 on RDS, in addition to live streaming on the digital platforms of both networks.
“Under the new agreement, Montreal Canadiens matchups continue to be available to subscribers located in the team’s designated broadcast region on TSN, RDS, and streaming live through the networks digital platforms, featuring 50 games on TSN and 45 on RDS.
We’ve been fortunate to count TSN and RDS as valued partners for many years, and we’re thrilled to formally extend this collaboration for years to come. Whether through live games or shoulder programming, this will allow fans to enjoy their Canadiens in a host of forms with industry-best production.”

A partnership that goes beyond hockey
The agreement isn’t limited to games. Fans will also have access to exclusive content, notably through the documentary series THE REBUILD: Inside the Montreal Canadiens, available on Crave.
Personally, I have to admit that I loved Season 2, which was released a few weeks ago.
This production, narrated in French by Marc-André Grondin, has been a huge success so far!
