The lights of Bell Centre burn brighter than usual, casting a golden glow across the ice as thousands of fans buzz with anticipation. In the heart of Montreal, a city that lives and breathes hockey, something extraordinary is about to happen—a moment that promises to electrify the crowd and remind everyone why this team, and this player, matter so much. The spotlight is set, the music pulses, and every eye in the arena waits for the number 13 to step forward.
Cole Caufield’s journey this season has been nothing short of spectacular, but tonight, the story is about more than goals and assists. It’s about a young star who has become the heartbeat of a franchise, rewriting expectations and redefining what it means to wear the Canadiens sweater. As the announcer’s voice echoes through the rafters, fans hold their breath, knowing they’re about to witness a celebration that goes far beyond statistics.
The numbers, though, are impossible to ignore. In November alone, Caufield racked up five goals and eight assists, leading the team in points and shots, his name a constant on the scoresheet. He matched the output of veterans like Nick Suzuki and Mike Matheson, but did it with a flair that made each play feel like a highlight reel moment. Seven consecutive games with a point, a milestone 300th NHL appearance, and now, another trophy for his growing collection—the Molson Cup for November.
But the real story is the atmosphere, the sense of destiny that seems to follow Caufield every time he hits the ice. Signed to a long-term deal that stretches into the next decade, he’s not just meeting expectations—he’s exceeding them, turning every shift into a showcase of talent and determination. The front office bet big on his future, and with 26 points already this season, including 14 goals, that investment looks smarter with each passing game.
Tonight, though, is about more than numbers. It’s about the roar of the crowd, the swell of pride as Montreal honors a player who has become a symbol of hope and excitement. The ceremony before the game against the Ottawa Senators will be more than a routine presentation—it will be a statement, a moment when the city stands as one to salute a rising superstar.
What will the celebration look like? Will Caufield’s teammates join him at center ice, or will he stand alone in the spotlight, soaking in the adoration of a city that has already embraced him as one of its own? Will the energy of the crowd ignite the team for the night ahead, or will the pressure of the moment weigh heavy on the young forward’s shoulders? These questions linger in the air, adding to the sense of anticipation that makes hockey in Montreal so unique.
As the seconds tick down to puck drop, fans know they’re about to witness something special. Cole Caufield’s name will echo through Bell Centre, and for a few unforgettable moments, the future of the Canadiens will shine brighter than ever. Stay with us as we capture every detail of a night that promises to be historic—for Caufield, for Montreal, and for every fan who believes in the magic of hockey.

The Canadiens confirmed Monday that 24-year-old Cole Caufield won the Molson Cup for November, awarded to the player with the most three-star selections.
In 13 games in November, Caufield led the team with five goals, eight assists, 13 points, and 34 shots on net, tied with Nick Suzuki for goals and with Mike Matheson for assists. Simply put: his name appeared everywhere on the scoresheet.
He reached this result thanks, among other things, to a streak of seven consecutive games with at least one point, during which he scored two goals and added six assists.
He also played his 300th career NHL game on November 4 against Philadelphia, another important milestone for him.
Cole Caufield adds another trophy to his dream season
In total, this season, Caufield already has 26 points, including 14 goals, placing him among the top goal scorers in the National Hockey League and at the top of the Canadiens’ roster after Friday’s game in Las Vegas, where he scored his 14th goal of the campaign.
Let’s recall that in October, he had already claimed the Molson Cup thanks to a haul of nine goals in 11 games. Two straight segments with this honor are starting to look like a personal reign over this trophy in Montreal.
Here is the announcement:
“With 13 points in 13 games, Cole Caufield is the Molson Cup recipient for November!”

Signed for eight seasons at 7.85 million dollars per year, the American is delivering exactly what the management hoped for when they tied him to the club through 2031. The more games go by, the more that amount looks like a bargain for a natural scorer in his twenties.
A special ceremony presentation to highlight his November Molson Cup will take place before Tuesday night’s game against the Ottawa Senators at the Bell Centre. No doubt: when number 13 is introduced, the noise in the stands will rise quickly.
