During Monday night’s Oilers vs. Ducks in Anaheim at the Honda Center, Edmonton faced a defeat on and also off the ice following a late hit by Radko Gudas, which would ultimately injure forward Corey Perry.
Edmonton has dropped their second straight game to the Anaheim Ducks by a score of 3-2 Monday night, and they appeared similar to chickens running around with their heads cut off without players Leon Draisaitl and Connor McDavid in the lineup as they are battling lingering injuries.
Stuart Skinner, Evander Kane, Mattias Ekholm, John Klingberg, and Trent Frederic are the current players aside from their two stars injured, and it appears that Corey Perry may be joining them following a grueling hit from the Anaheim Ducks’ captain Radko Gudas.

The inconsistency in officiating as of late was shown during the hit, when no call was made on the ice.
The Oilers have since failed to give an update on 39-year old veteran Corey Perry, the former Chicago Blackhawks forward, who had his contract terminated within the organization for allegedly violating team rules.
In the midst of a losing skid in Edmonton, fans and teammates can only hope that there is no long-term absence in play for Perry after receiving that brutal hit from Radko Gudas of the Anaheim Ducks.
