We have some news for those who already want an Ivan Demidov jersey. The Ivan Demidov craze is absolutely wild right now, and many fans are already lining up to get a game jersey with the young forward’s name on it.
But what number will he wear?
We know he usually wears number 91, but here in Montreal, Oliver Kapanen already has 91.. However, that doesn’t seem like it will be a problem.

“The Habs gave me 91 because it’s what I wore in Europe. It wasn’t my choice. We’ll see next year.”

So it seems like Demidov will indeed get number 91.
Let’s not forget that the Canadiens officially announced Demidov’s signing just a few minutes ago, a contract that takes effect immediately, starting this season, and one that lasts, of course, for three seasons.
We’re really looking forward to seeing him in the lineup, especially since he seems determined to crack the roster as quickly as possible, and he truly wants to make a strong impact with Martin St. Louis’ squad this season.
