Robert Irwin has been sashaying up a storm on the US version of Dancing With The Stars.

But it seems it’s all becoming a bit too much for his dancing partner Witney Carson, 31.

Witney revealed last week that she had taken on the added role of helping Robert, 21, find romance while he is Stateside.

And it looks as though she may have bitten off more than she can chew, if her latest social media posts are anything to go by.

Witney took to her Instagram stories this week to reveal that she had been inundated with potential partners for Robert, signalling their availability in her DMs.

‘Girls, I love you, thank you for the applications through somehow my email and flooding the DMs,’ she said.

‘If I could line you all up with Robert I would because you’re all 10/10 perfect cuties. Robert for Bachelor?! Idk this is too stressful for me to handle lol.’

Witney also shared a humorous clip that showed her in her role as Robert’s romantic gatekeeper.

The clip showed the pair walking into a room in slow motion before sitting down on separate chairs.

Witney then demanded Robert hand over his phone before proceeding to snoop through his messages – much to his chagrin.

She captioned the clip: ‘Coming in hot to check Robert’s DMs.’

Robert, who also shared the short video, captioned it with: ‘Witney taking the wingman job very seriously…’

The post was met with a flurry of comments from friends and followers including the official Australia Zoo page, which offered two crying laughing face emojis.

It also tickled Dannii Minogue’s funny bone, with the pop star adding: ‘More of this, please.’

Robert’s big sister Bindi, 27, also jumped in with: ‘I feel like I finally have the sister I always wanted (and needed)…’

Another follower quickly picked up on Witney’s Bachelor comment, suggesting it was the perfect reality role for Robert.

‘Robert for Bachelor is the only acceptable outcome,’ they wrote.

However, some fans disagreed, with one suggesting that he was too good for the long-running series

‘Nah he’s better than that. He deserves real love like what his parents had,’ they wrote.

After dazzling judges and fans last week with a sizzling tango, Robert also piqued the interest of female fans with a post-show chat with E! News.

The Aussie hunk revealed that he is still single, while offering a clue that is sure to leave many Aussie fans heartbroken.

‘We are still looking for the American girl,’ Robert said, before revealing that Witney had been assisting in his quest for love along with Bindi.

It comes after Witney revealed last week that she had been acting as Robert’s ‘wingman’ ‘screening’ potential love interests

‘Well, you have to go through kind of a screening process, so submit your applications through my DMs and then I will forward them to Bindi, and then we’ll see about the American tourist,’ Witney said.

Witney then gave Robert a stark warning after he declared that he now has two protective older sisters.

‘And you’ll be single forever,’ she joked, prompting a surprised ‘woah’ from Robert.

Robert also gave potential applicants an insight into what he looks for in a romantic partner.

‘I think more than anything else, just genuine kindness,’ he said.

‘That’s so important, to surround yourself with people who are genuinely kind.’

On the romance front, Robert has been in one public relationship, with long-time partner Rorie Buckley.

They were believed to have been dating since November 2022, and were last seen together in January 2024, looking smitten as they jetted out of Melbourne following an appearance at the Australian Open.

The couple reportedly parted ways a month later.
