We witnessed a funny moment in the last few minutes during Patrik Laine’s press conference.

The Finnish forward, who is always very direct in his responses to journalists, outright mentioned that he hated Brendan Gallagher and that for 8 years, he despised him.

Laine on Brendan Gallagher:

” I hated him for about eight years before I got here.

I always hated him on the ice; I had never met him outside of it, so..

But now, I think he’s awesome!

He’s one of those players with heart and soul, and every time he steps on the ice, you know what you’re going to get from him.

Now I don’t hate him anymore; now I’m a huge, huge fan of him!
