Last night, after another loss for his team, Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Seth Jones had a lot to say. He sent a clear message to his management, and as Georges Laraque mentioned on BPM Sports earlier today, this is an interesting trade target for the Montreal Canadiens.

In the past few hours, Seth Jones has openly sent a message confirming that he would like to be traded.

 

Seth Jones says he’s talking with the Blackhawks about the possibility of a trade.

“I would like to give myself a chance to win in my career. I know that the money is not an easy thing to move, and that’s what we’re figuring out.”

 

And following his post-game comments, everything indicates that he will likely be traded within a few days.

Seth Jones, 30 years old, is a right-handed defenseman standing 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 213 pounds. He was drafted 4th overall by the Nashville Predators in 2013.
