It could have been a big addition, but well, I suppose there’s a good reason why no NHL team (including the Habs) was willing to give up a first-round pick to acquire Boeser.
At 28 years old, Boeser is a 6-foot-1, 208-pound forward who was selected 23rd overall by the Vancouver Canucks in the 2015 NHL Draft (1st round). He has put up a solid 38 points in 55 games this season, including 18 goals.
Last season, he recorded 73 points, including 40 goals, with the Canucks.
