It’s the start of another day that will be very interesting today for the Montreal Canadiens. Obviously, we will continue to closely monitor the Ivan Demidov situation, but most importantly, the players will be back on the ice.
After a well-deserved day off yesterday, there will be a practice today.
However, please note an important change regarding today’s practice.. It has been moved from Brossard to Montreal!
The session will therefore not take place at the CN Sports Complex in Brossard as initially planned, but it will instead be held at the Bell Centre.
This is an interesting change, and important to note for those who had planned to attend the session.
A Change of Plans Regarding Today’s Practice for the Montreal Canadiens
You can imagine that some see this as a hint that something interesting is brewing. Some believed it might be linked to Ivan Demidov’s early arrival and the desire to welcome him at the Bell Centre instead of in Brossard, but that wasn’t the case.
To be continued, in any case!
One thing is certain: with everything that’s happened this week, nothing can surprise me anymore in this case.
Let’s still remember that, according to the latest developments, Demidov’ paperwork is done and he is expected to join the team in Toronto very shortly.
“The Canadiens will practice at 11:30 a.m., but at the BELL CENTRE instead of Brossard.”

We will keep you updated on the developments after today’s session.
We’ll be watching the health status of certain players, like David Savard and Emil Heineman, as well as the potential line combinations from Martin St-Louis up front and on defense.
