Scott Cam delivered a brutal blow to Blockheads Han and Can during Kitchen Week on Wednesday’s episode of The Block.
Surveying the couple’s work, Scott found fault with the way the pair had fitted their range hood, which he found to be far too low.
‘I’ve gotta tell ya, if I was a buyer – I know this is a terrible thing to say – I couldn’t buy this house, because of that,’ he declared in a brutal verdict.
‘If I’m cooking… I’d get hit in the head.’
An unfiltered Scott continued to put the boot into the contestants who listened in shell-shocked silence.
‘Well, hopefully we’ve got a bunch of really short people coming in here to look at this house,’ he joked.

In a post-inspection interview, Han rejected the criticism outright, ‘I don’t care what anyone thinks.’
However, her partner disagreed, ‘I care what everyone thinks,’ said Can.
It comes after the controversial couple from WA sacked their ‘chippie’ earlier this week.
After taking out top honours with their rumpus room on Sunday night, Blockheads Han and Can shocked the cast and crew with their surprising decision.
Returning to the site to gather his things, Ben was philosophical when asked about his working relationship with Han and Can.
‘Bittersweet to be honest. I will miss being here because I like The Block, but to be honest house two has definitely taken its toll on me,’ he said.
‘I kind of wish I was in a different house, but… I might have to go and speak to house one and see if they need another chippy.’
Speaking to a gobsmacked foreman Dan Reilly, Ben revealed that the team had replaced him with local tradesman Shan, as he was ‘too expensive’.

In a brutal verdict, Scott declared that he ‘wouldn’t buy the house’
The swap did not sit well with Ben, who labelled Han and Can ‘gutless’ for their actions.
‘When I was working here on Thursday, Han goes, “How much have you got left on the hidden door?: She was being a bit cold and sheepish and I was like, “Something’s going on”,’ he said.
‘I could gather by [their] vibe that they were either off me, or maybe too gutless to tell me that they weren’t going to have me here anymore.’
The plot thickened however when it was revealed that Han removed her microphone before calling Ben to inform him his services would not be required for the near future.
Footage showed Han, who claimed to be sick, and Can stepping into a van and whispering about what they were going to say to Ben.
Producers took the team to task, asking them to explain their surreptitious actions.
When they promised to never remove their microphones again, they were strongly rebuked.
‘It’s not about taking your microphone off when you’re sick, it’s about taking your microphone off and making tricky calls to builders.’
A miscommunication between new builder Shan and the team resulted in a delay in construction, which proved to be too much for Han.
‘Would you agree that this would be the kind of thing that Ben would normally handle?’ a producer asked.
Fighting back tears, Han stood up from the couch and stormed off, obviously over talking about her tradie tribulations.
‘I need a minute,’ she said. ‘I’m sorry, it’s all too much.’
