The head coach of the Montreal Canadiens, Martin St-Louis, did something very rare at practice, and the players quickly understood he wasn’t joking around.

Last night in Montreal brought another tough loss, an 8-4 setback against the Capitals. Montembeault allowed 3 goals on 10 shots, and Jake Evans later exited after a controversial elbow from Tom Wilson. A night the Canadiens will want to move past quickly.

However, this morning, the Montreal Canadiens players were working on a single forechecking drill. They had been skating at high speed for more than 25 minutes.

For those who have done practices before, forechecking drills are never fun. According to some people, you could hear the players’ breathing all the way up in the stands.
