According to several journalists present, the Quebec-born goaltender lost his patience a few times after allowing goals he probably should have stopped!

At first glance, this kind of reaction might be surprising, but I think it mainly shows how much Montembeault hates to lose-no matter the setting.

Whether it’s in a game or at practice, he always holds himself to the same standard.

“Monty is not satisfied with his job and we know it. It shows when we see him being a bit frustrated after conceding a goal in training.

That’s not to say Monty is playing poorly, but Dobes has simply been more consistent since the start of the season.

In my opinion, Dobes deserves to get the start on Tuesday-especially knowing he’s had several days of rest since his last game.

I think the timing is perfect to let the young goaltender keep his momentum going and continue building his confidence.
