Jackie ‘O’ Henderson was a no-show at KIIS FM on Tuesday morning – and it may have something to do with a new romance.

The radio star, 50, called in sick to The Kyle & Jackie O Show, with co-host Kyle Sandilands quick to reveal she recently found herself a ‘boyfriend’.

He claimed to listeners at the opening of their radio show that she may have decided to stay in with her new man, rather than nurse a flu as she had said.

‘No Jackie today, everyone,’ Kyle, 54, began their successful radio broadcast, with newsreader Brooklyn Ross saying: ‘Do we know what’s up with her?‘

‘Yeah, she messaged at about midnight saying she has cold and flu symptoms, like fevers and stuff,’ a producer explained.

‘She must have had the boyfriend over,’ Kyle joked, before addressing listeners.

‘Now let me clear things up. If you’ve been listening to this show, Jackie seems to have got herself a fella on the sly. We all have to pretend like it doesn’t happen,’ he continued.

‘I don’t know why. Maybe she actually wants this one to work out. Because in the past, maybe I’ve piled onto these blokes who have come along.’

Brooklyn then chimed in to confess he pulled the same tactics with his husband Damien Dirienzo when they first began dating.

‘I did the same with my husband Damien. I used to come in here on a Monday morning and tell you about all the s***ty behaviour I had over the weekend,’ he said.

‘But then when you find someone you’re actually interested in, you just want to take it as slow as possible.’

Jackie was last linked to former toyboy Jack Tyerman – who has since announced his engagement to another woman.

The 30-year-old tradie shared the good news in a joint Instagram post in December, alongside his fiancée Asha Dillon.

The age-gap romance between Jackie and Jack allegedly fizzled out over the radio star’s memoir, The Whole Truth.

Jackie was first romantically linked to the model in August 2023 when he was spotted at her luxury Sydney pad.

An insider suggested the ‘hot tradie’ was furious about the KIIS FM host mentioning him in her book, according to The Daily Telegraph.

Before that, Jackie’s marriage to her ex-husband Lee Henderson fell apart in 2018. They share one daughter Kitty.

Speaking on The Kyle & Jackie Show, the mother-of-one hinted that a lack of spontaneous romance in their relationship was a catalyst for the split.
