Robert Irwin didn’t just win Dancing With the Stars; he also received a special surprise that had his mother, Terri Irwin, calling it “the best ever.”

The Australian wildlife conservationist and photographer has received countless greetings and heartfelt messages from family, friends and fans as he celebrates his 22nd birthday.

From his sister Bindi Irwin’s playful greeting, calling him by his iconic nickname “Brian,” to warm wishes from his DWTS family, it’s clear just how much he is loved and celebrated.

Besides the birthday wishes, the 22-year-old’s special day was also celebrated at a place close to their hearts, none other than the Australia Zoo.

The staff and crew made it unforgettable by turning the day into a joyous sing-along, with the pop trio band Sheppard leading the crowd in a heartfelt birthday song.

An Instagram video captured the whole Australia Zoo singing, with the note: “When you get the whole Australia Zoo to sing Happy Birthday to Robert Irwin.”

“Even the crocs were getting involved.. Hope you’re feeling the love today, all the way from Australia Zoo,” the caption reads as posted by the Sheppard.

Pop trio Sheppard performed “Happy Birthday” at the Australia Zoo to celebrate Robert Irwin’s special day.

Fans flooded the comments section with reactions, noting how lovely the surprise was.

“Such an incredible performance!” one wrote.

“It was amazing,” a commenter said.

One fan who personally witnessed the special moment commented, saying, “I was there today, and it was awesome to be a part of singing Happy Birthday to @robertirwinphotography.”

Besides fans, the post also sparked a reaction from Robert Irwin’s mom, who was clearly impressed with the surprise greeting.

“Best birthday party ever!” Terri Irwin commented.

Meanwhile, the birthday boy also expressed his deep gratitude for such an amazing surprise and said, “Aww I love this.”

This year has been a fruitful one for the Australian TV presenter.

After delivering a thrilling performance and joining the five finalists, he emerged as the champion with his dancing partner Witney Carson.

Through his journey on DWTS, he proved that dreams come true. From watching his sister compete during season 21 and eventually winning the title, it was now his turn to take the spotlight and claim victory.

“The fact that not only did I get to live out that dream that I’ve had for so long, but also getting to represent what’s so important to me,” he told The Hollywood Reporter.

Following his victory, Robert Irwin intends to continue doing his advocacy and wildlife projects.
