The grand final episode of My Kitchen Rules was seen by 2.29 million Australians on Sunday night, with average audiences of 1.17m throughout the 90-minute finale.

The finale of MKR was a ratings winner for Seven
It was the highest-rating program of the day, beating the finale of The Golden Bachelor over on Nine, which reached 2.01 million viewers, with an average viewership of 836,000.
According to Oztam’s VOZ figures, the entire season of MKR drew over 9.4 million people – the show’s biggest TV audience since 2019. The finale also drew 185,000 people on 7plus, a 58% leap over the final episode of 2024.
My Kitchen Rules final fared quite well compared to other reality TV finals seen so far in 2025.
In April, the Australian Idol two-part finale drew an average of 1.07m for each episode to Seven, with the Sunday night attracting a total of 2.22m and the Monday 1.85m. The following month, Nine’s shiny reality/game show hybrid The Floor drew 1.93m to its final, with an average of 1.21m.
The third season of SBS’ most successful reality show ever, Alone Australia, pulled 817,000 to its early June finale (with an average of 342,000), while the August finale of Masterchef on Ten pulled 1.39m, with an average of 784,000.
Ten ran two seasons of Survivor in 2025. The first, Brains vs. Brawn, finished up in April with 1.37m viewers and an average of 764,000, while Survivor: Australia vs. The World ended its run in September with 1.12m watching the finale, and an average of 653,000.
Earlier this month, the final episode of The Voice saw 2.04m tune in on Seven, with average audiences of 842,000.
MKR didn’t get close to Nine’s two big tentpole reality franchises, though.
In April, the Married At First Sight final drew 2.9m viewers (including 457,000 on BVOD), and an average of 1.83m throughout.
And, despite two of the five houses failing to sell during a disappointing auction, The Block’s finale late last month pulled a massive 3.65m viewers, with an average of 2.39m.
MKR is produced for Seven by ITV Studios Australia.
