Robert Irwin’s Dancing with the Stars USA debut was hailed as the best first dance in the show’s history, and since then, he has stood out on the show.

From touching tributes to his parents, to his sister Bindi, and his mother Terri joining him on stage, he has captured everyone’s hearts.

With no dance experience, he has also scored two perfect scores so far.

Now, he’s dancing in the grand final.

Is Robert Irwin going to win Dancing with the Stars USA?

Robert has followed in his sister Bindi’s footsteps and has said he has big shoes to fill!

Like any reality show, there have been betting odds for the 34th season.

At the time of publication, the 21-year-old is tipped as the winner on Sportsbet⁠ and has been since the start of the competition.

Robert and his partner, Witney Carson, currently have $1.10 odds, followed by Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy ($4.33), Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa ($8.00), Dylan Efron and Daniella Karagach ($15.00), and Elaine Hendrix and Alan Bersten ($19.00).

On November 21, celebrity and gossip account Deuxmoi also posted a blind item about the show on Instagram after The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Whitney Leavitt was eliminated.

A screenshot of the anonymous tip began with the subject “Crikey Mate”.

It then continued with, “The production for this dance show has had their winner chosen since before the season started. Next week’s winner will be no surprise, no matter how many times you vote”.

Since Whitney, who trained in dance at university, was eliminated, fans have been outraged.

In the comments section on Instagram, fans expressed their anger that she missed out on competing in the grand final.

Some fans theorised that with all of the remaining finalists, Robert was set up to win because he has the cleanest image out of all the grand finalists.

Another said it would also be perfect for the show, given that Bindi held up the Mirrorball Trophy in 2015.

“We have the same theory at my house. A sibling duo of winners would play so nicely,” one follower commented.

Others disagreed and said that he earned his place in the finale because he’s worked hard throughout the season.

“If Robert doesn’t win, I’ll never watch the show again,” one fan wrote on social media.

“The winners and new champions of DWTS are Robert & Witney, make it happen, please Robert has to win just like Bindi did!!!!! 🪩🏆🥹😍🤩🙏🙏🙏” another begged.

“But I’ve been a bit annoyed with how much Robert has been shoved down our throats,” they wrote on Reddit.

“Not because he lacked talent – best dance of the night by far! But you can kind of tell DWTS is trying to make him the face of the season, and after one week, it’s already feeling like a little much.

“There’s SO much talent that I feel is being overshadowed by them pushing the Irwin storyline.

“I’ve found myself actually feeling disconnected from his dancing despite how well he did because of the over saturation and hype…maybe that’s a me problem haha.”
