A large Australian Idol-branded bus, which was spotted struggling to navigate a tiny inner-western Sydney alley on Wednesday, has been roasted online.
Footage of the bus, seemingly unsure of which way was forward, made its way onto Reddit and it quickly racked up views and laughs.
It showed the vehicle desperately attempting to reverse out of the narrow lane.
The clip was captioned: ‘Today on small inner western roads. Australian Idol going in brave new directions… backwards… badly.
‘Poor bloody driver being made to get the bus down the lanes in St Peters.’
Fellow users couldn’t resist roasting the driving mishap.
‘It’s literally a block away from Princes Highway. Makes you wonder what they were thinking,’ one user wrote.

Another joked: ‘Fun fact – Shannon Noll was driving that bus.’
‘Australian idle,’ a third joked.
This year’s series of Australian Idol was broadcast on Channel Seven from February to April, and featured judges Kyle Sandilands, Amy Shark and Marcia Hines.
The grand finale saw winner Marshall Hamburger narrowly beat fellow finalists Gisella Colletti and Iilysh Terallick for $100,000 prize money.
He was lost for words by the life-changing victory.
The young performer walked away with the huge cash prize and a recording contract with Sony Music Australia, following the record public vote.
Fighting back emotion, Marshall thanked his fans.
‘Thank you, Australia, thank you so much,’ he said.

‘You’re gonna see a lot of me in the future.’
Talking about his involvement in the singing competition, the excited teenager said, ‘I honestly can’t believe it. I’ve changed so much, I’ve definitely stepped out of my shell’.
As the contest progressed, it was Gisella who was eliminated first – leaving Marshall and Iilyish to battle it out.
Gisella bravely faced her disappointment and thanked her co-stars after the show.
‘I left my heart out on that stage. I’m never turning back, no matter what happens. I’m so ready to go out there and make my own music,’ she said.
Marshall picked the 1981 hit Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic by The Police to perform on the night, and wowed the judging panel with his fiery talent.
Judge Kyle Sandilands gushed over Marshall’s talent.
‘I would love to get a psychic medium to find out which dead music legend you’ve reincarnated,’ the shock jock said.
‘It’s just not possible that such a young, fresh boy is such a seasoned genius musician.’
Marshall’s debut album was released in April and reached the Australian Top 50 Albums Chart.
