In a bizarre claim, some Big Brother Australia viewers are questioning whether the fan who ran up to Holly Young in the show’s recent episode was a PR stunt or not.

It’s no secret that viewers have mixed feelings about the 31-year-old model. After all, she’s set headlines on fire with her famous connections (including Married At First Sight‘s Carina MirabileUsain Bolt and Luxe Listings‘ Gavin Rubinstein), her steamy PDA with fellow housemate Colin Ridley and her chat about pretty privilege that struck a nerve with Abiola Oreyomi.

But after a gruelling couple of weeks in the Big Brother Australia house, Australia officially voted, and Holly was evicted from the show.

Like every other live eviction, after Mel Tracina made the announcement, Holly walked out on stage to a roaring crowd. However, as soon as she made it to Mel, Holly bent towards a fan who was in tears over her eviction.

“You’re a beautiful girl. Don’t cry!” Holly said as she comforted the fan.

While the moment was quite sweet, some fans took to X (formerly Twitter) questioning whether the fan’s reaction was genuine.

At the time of writing, it’s not known if the fan is linked to Holly or if that was just a genuine reaction to the news. But hey, evictions are emotional, and after all, the fan is a child, so it’s totally normal for them to be overwhelmed, especially if it was their fave!

Look, while Holly ruffled A LOT of feathers in the Big Brother house, it’s sad to see her go. Mostly because now all the drama is gone.

I’m also surprised that Bruce Dunne has managed to stay in the house, especially the fact that he shared similar views with Michael Downs and Jane Marshall-Doherty, and they were evicted earlier on.
