After months of design drama and renovation battles, The Block’s Daylesford finale brings five multimillion-dollar homes to auction this weekend.
After a blockbuster season in the scenic town of Daylesford, five couples are gearing up for The Block 2025 Grand Finale, airing this Sunday at 7.00pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.

The five competing pairs — Emma and Ben (VIC), Han and Can (WA), Britt and Taz (WA), Alicia and Sonny (QLD), and Robby and Mat (SA) — have each built brand-new, architecturally designed homes, all sharing identical floor plans but brought to life through vastly different styles. Every choice, from finishes to final touches, has been made with one goal in mind — to sell big and secure the $100,000 prize.
Over 12 intense weeks, the season has delivered everything from hidden wine cellars to dramatic challenges and emotional highs. Now, the homes — described as ready-to-move-in luxury retreats — will go under the hammer, promising a true test of the Daylesford property market, which has become a central character in this year’s storyline.
The five homes — located along Cedar Lane in Daylesford — are each listed as four-bedroom, three-bathroom properties with price guides between $3 million and $3.3 million.
Host Scott Cam reflected on the season’s scale and effort.
“After 12 weeks of hard work, it’s incredible to see these Blockheads transform their visions into stunning homes. The scale of this season’s build has been enormous and these teams have truly been put to the test.
“Auction day is the most nerve-racking day of the year for me. This is a life-changing weekend for our teams and they have all put in the effort to deserve an incredible result.”
Domain’s National Managing Editor Alice Stolz shared insights into the current property climate.
“Sellers are in a good spot right now. Interest rates are lower, clearance rates are higher and overall supply is decent. We’re seeing a lift in buyer enquiry across regional Victoria, particularly in commutable lifestyle hubs like Daylesford.
“But things can get tricky if sellers overbake what their homes are worth. Deals are not getting done if sellers are dreaming.
“This year’s Block contestants have delivered something truly extraordinary, large, beautiful and architectural homes in the heart of one of Victoria’s most charming towns. There’s nothing out there like it. Let’s hope enough buyers are ready to lock it in.”
Executive Producer Julian Cress also praised the contestants and the town’s support.
“There is no doubt that our contestants have built five incredible homes, in what we have discovered is one of the best country towns and communities in Australia.
“We would be very hopeful that people who have watched this series realise just what an amazing thing it would be to buy one of these homes and join the community in Daylesford.
“We are trying to do something that has never been done before, auction five high-end homes in Daylesford on the same day. And while the homes all deserve to sell well and command high prices, we are not certain that we can do it in one day. But we hope to.
“So as usual, we are as nervous as we always are going into a Block auction. Whatever happens on the day, on behalf of our entire cast and crew we would like to sincerely thank the people of Daylesford for welcoming us to their beautiful town.”
Since first hitting screens in 2003, The Block has handed out an impressive $39,627,139.63 in prizemoney, cementing its reputation as Australia’s richest reality series.
