Teams are racing to finish their back of house rooms on The Block, with Britt and Taz getting a head start on landscaping.

Being coppers, the duo are sticklers for the rules, but neighbour Sonny spotted some “suspicious” activity… (in Block land, that is).

This year, the teams have been given the all clear to work ahead on landscaping and landscaping only.

Sonny noticed the sub-frame being built for House 3’s deck which technically, is part of the alfresco area.

“To me, that’s working ahead for next week,” said Sonny, which breaks a strict rule in Block land.

Sonny casually mentioned it to Foreman Dan, who realised Sonny just might be right.

“It’s the rules, you’re not allowed to work ahead,” said Sonny.
“Yes, I see…” (Nine)
Dan caught on that Sonny and Alicia are very much playing the game, and walked over to House 3 to deliver a very harsh punishment.

Next Monday, the start of actual alfresco week, Britt and Taz will be banned from working on the deck at all.

“A full day?!” Taz wanted to make clear.

It didn’t take long for Britt and Taz to realise it was Sonny who brought it to Dan’s attention.

Britt felt she was being “penalised” by their rivals because everyone else was behind. But, the coppers were happy to cop a day for unknowingly breaking the rules.

“We have different styles of playing the game, it’s just not how we compete,” reacted a salty Britt.
