Jackie ‘O’ Henderson has slammed a news headline which appeared to claim her $13.25 million Clovelly mansion renovation was ‘disgusting’.

On Thursday’s episode of The Kyle and Jackie O Show, the veteran presenter was told by co-host Kyle that he had recently seen a headline which called her expensive construction project ‘disgusting’.

‘The article says they spoke to my soon-to-be neighbour, who reveals she thinks Kyle and Jackie O are “disgusting”,’ Jackie said.

Jackie then slammed claims the renovation works were anything other than amazing, while admitting it would take some time for the mansion to fully take shape.

‘It’s definitely not disgusting. It’s bloody beautiful! But amid construction, of course it is not going to be that pleasant to look at, but that’s life,’ she said.

She added she expected the construction to be completed within a year and by that time the unsightly site, consisting of cranes, heavy machinery and a team of builders, would be transformed into her stunning new home.

The article’s original online headline – Jackie O’s ‘disgusting’ project – has since been changed.

Earlier this week, it was reported that Jackie’s Sydney oceanside dream home was officially coming to life.

Exclusive photos obtained by Daily Mail captured the construction progress on Jackie’s lavish Clovelly mansion, and showed the sprawling ground level is now firmly in place.

Aerial images captured the ambitious build in action, as workers set about transforming the oceanfront property into a celebrity–worthy palace.

The site has been cleared of the original 1960s–era six–bedroom, three–storey home, leaving a vast, open canvas.

Meanwhile, large earthmovers and excavators could be seen shifting soil, while scaffolding outlined the mansion’s future footprint.

Workers were busy laying foundations and preparing for the next stages of construction, signalling the build is progressing at a steady pace.

The site already looks grand, with its sweeping oceanside position and expansive footprint commanding attention.
