Married At First Sight’s Ella Ding and husband Guy Palermo have welcome their first child – a beautiful baby girl!

The 31-year-old took to Instagram to announce the sweet arrival and reveal her adorable name.

“Pia May Palermo… say hi to everyone 🩷 she entered earth-side 18.11.25 and wow I’m obsessed with this bubble,” Ella captioned a carousel of black and white photos.

In one photo, parents Ella and Guy held onto newborn Pia and in another Pia cuddled up to dad in bed.

Friends and fans rushed to the comment section to congratulate the new parents.

“Love her so much already,” wrote former MAFS bride Eden Harper.

While close friend and Love Island alumni Courtney Stubbs commented: “Eeeeepppp longest wait of my life.”

Another said: “Go mama!!! You made it haha. Big love to you both xx.”

Ella’s pregnancy journey

Ella announced her pregnancy back in May 2025, just one year after she and Guy secretly tied the knot.

Sharing a photo with her husband, Guy is seen cradling Ella’s growing bump while Ella holds a positive pregnancy test.

“Somewhere between healing and hustling, the next chapter quietly chose us,” the Season 9 bride captioned the snap.

“Baby Palermo you’ve already made our story sweeter & given us the best news of 2025 yet ✨ .”

Friends, fans and co-stars flooded Ella’s post with congratulatory messages.

“Finally!!! Proud of you my baby girl I love you so much,” commented Season 10 bride Evelyn Ellis.

“Congratulations darling @ellamayding & Guy… This is such beautiful news!! 🥰❤️,” wrote MAFS bride Sarah Jane Roza.

“THE BESTTTT EVER ❤️🥰,” said Season 11’s Eden Harper, while one fan added: “Huge congratulations to you both!😍 What an exciting chapter ahead.”

In a second photo, Ella shared a close up of her growing bump, as she placed her hand on Guy’s, along with their fur baby Yuki in the photo.

A third photo shared milestones from Ella’s pregnancy journey so far, including an instant photo of a sonogram and a pregnancy test marking three months.

The wonderful news comes a year since Ella and Guy secretly married in April 2025, just one month after he popped the question during a jog around the local park.

“A morning run turned into a proposal … I SAID YES 💍,” Ella wrote at the time.

As an extra special surprise, the proposal was filmed and all of their friends ran around her while she became visibly emotional and flashed her stunning ring to the camera.

Just weeks later, in what appeared to be Ella’s 30th birthday party, she and Guy used to date as a guise for the actual reason – her wedding day.

Ella posted a video on her Instagram page showing how they pulled the surprise off.

It began with flashbacks of her as a child before the clip showed the words “Earlier today”. Ella was dressed in a jaw-dropping wedding gown with a giant bow in her hair, about to tie the knot to Guy.

“I Ella May Ding, take you Guy Palermo to be my lawfully wedded husband,” we heard Ella say, before Guy made the same vows in response.

The video captured her guests complete shock and awe at the ruse.

Ella, who was partnered with Mitch Eynaud in the experiment, confirmed her relationship with Guy in April 2023.

However, during an Instagram Q&A in 2023 Ella revealed that she actually met and dated Guy six years before they went official, saying that “timing is everything” when it comes to love.

“We have known each other a long time and we did actually date three years ago in lockdown, and we also went on a date six years ago,” she said at the time. “I guess we always had this little thing for each other, but the timing was just never in our favour.”
