Janette might not have found love with Bear on The Golden Bachelor but fans are already calling for her to be the Golden Bachelorette.

There’s been no confirmation that a season of The Golden Bachelorette is in the works or even being planned for but one thing’s for sure, the fans are demanding it!

Speaking exclusively to 9Entertainment, Janette gave an enthusiastic ‘yes absolutely’ when asked if she would ever consider becoming The Golden Bachelorette.

As Janette wrote a lengthy message on social media wrapping up her time on the show, fans flocked to the comment section in support of her.

“Golden Bachelorette!!” one fan wrote, with their comment amassing dozens of likes.

Another replied: “YES!! I thought this straight away!”

Janette isn’t the only woman of the season to be tipped as a contender for a potential Golden Bachelorette.

Many named fan-favourite Jan saying she’s “all class”.

While others said they’d “put money firmly” on radio host Bianca. With her razor-sharp wit fans thought Bianca had what it would take to turn any awkward reality TV moment into a hilarious one.

Is Janette still single after The Golden Bachelor?

Yes, Janette is still single. It’s been seven months since she and Bear went their separate ways and she revealed they haven’t spoken since, but she has been in touch with his now partner Sunny.

Janette returned home to Melbourne to a very full life of her work, her kids and caring for her mother.

“I had a lot to stop me thinking about it too much and I probably didn’t get a lot of time to really process it. In the end I trusted that what is meant to be happened,” she told 9Entertainment.

Janette has had a few months to find closure and now is ready to move on.

“My family is always number one for me, outside of that I’m building a website to do online pilates classes and I am ready to date.

“I’ve been on my own for a while but I would like to date somebody and hopefully I can keep my heart open and tell them how I feel, in time of course.”

Are Bear and Sunny still together?

Yes! Bear and Sunny are still together and they are elated to finally move forward with their relationship after months of keeping it secret from the public.

Speaking to 9Entertainment, Bear revealed: “We talk every day, mostly twice a day–. There’s been a couple of very secret getaways but they were few and far between.”

Despite not being able to meet up as much as they would’ve liked Sunny said their relationship has definitely grown stronger.

“It been hard, we wanted to see each other especially when episodes were airing but we couldn’t so we were just counting down the days,” Sunny added.

Now that their relationship is out in the open Bear and Sunny are “looking forward to getting back to some normality and being able to be seen out in public”.

Bear continued: “We know there’ll be an organic meeting of the families and there are decisions to be made but it’ll come in time we’re not rushing anything we just want it to happen organically.”
