EXCLUSIVE: It was the morning after Emma and Ben won $50,000 at the Domain Listing Buyers Jury challenge and Scott Cam and Shelley Craft had a lot to unpack.

In an exclusive and unseen clip, which you can watch above, the hosts wondered just how House 1’s rivals had received their win – especially Robby and Mat who were blindsided by Emma and Ben’s secret wine cellar plans.

Of course, that was not the case because Emma and Ben had plans to build an underground wine cellar and an underground games room of their own.

Safe to say the word ‘ONLY’ no longer applied and potential home buyers were shocked to discover there was another wine cellar on The Block.

Even though neither of those were in construction just yet, Domain’s Alice Stolz advised House 1 to put their grand vision on display. So they did.

“The shock I got when I walked in here and saw those boards promoting rooms that we didn’t even know existed,” Shelley said during the Friday walkarounds.

It wasn’t just a shock to Shelley but the boys in House 5 too, who accused Emma and Ben of copying their original idea.

Ben’s response was simple: “They didn’t invent wine cellars”. Touché.

While Emma told Scott and Shelley the boys probably have a “gripe” against them now, Ben was less worried.

“We gave them a lift home yesterday so they can’t be too salty.”

As for the other houses? They were all chuffed for House 1’s $50,000 win.

“Everyone congratulated us and said ‘if it wasn’t us winning we’re glad it’s you’,” Emma reported.

“They were all very supportive,” Ben concurred.
