We’re just days out from The Golden Bachelor finale, and fans are taking any morsel they can get to predict what will happen at the final rose ceremony, including Barry ‘Bear’ Myrden’s Facebook activity.

Some might say they’re clutching at straws while others might call them master detectives, but fans have discovered that Myrden’s Facebook page lists him as being ‘In a relationship’, which in social media language, should be taken as pure gospel.

I kid, of course, but Myrden’s FB relationship status at least hints that he does choose someone at the final rose ceremony, which is more than what his Bachelor peer Nick ‘Honey Badger’ Cummins can say (IYKYK).

It’s not yet known whether Myrden’s FB page — which is switched to private — had always listed him as being booed up, or whether the status was changed sometime during or after his appearance on The Golden Bachelor.

It’s a more promising sign than if Myrden’s status was set to ‘It’s complicated’, a move which probably would’ve hinted to fans that Bear accidentally dropped the final rose or something.

In the BCU (Bachelor Cinematic Universe), no clue should go un-investigated.

Regardless of his FB status, the fact that there’s only two women left ahead of the finale means that predictions at this point are somewhat of a coin-flip.

Finalist Janette Bendle — who was the first to enter the mansion and the first to nab a date with the man himself — is considered a frontrunner, but Bachelor finales have surprised us in the past (see: Honey Badger), so don’t count out fellow beauty Sunny Long just yet!

The most recent castmate to depart the mansion before the finale was Kim, leaving the two finalists to vye for Myrden’s heart when the last episode airs this Sunday, November 16 at 7pm on Channel 9.

If you still reckon you’ll need your Bachelor fix after that, rest assured. There’s been whispers of both a sophomore season of The Golden Bachelor and the launch of a Golden Bachelorette spinoff.
