Two of the most infamous stars of Australian competitive cooking competition show “My Kitchen Rules” have revealed they’re eyeing up another plunge into the television world.

Cousins Jacinta Radziejewski and Mel Bailey appeared as contestants on the 15th season of the popular show, which premiered on the Seven Network on September 1 this year.
The feisty New South Wales duo were essentially cast as the season’s villains, with the edits that aired very much framing them as such — Jacinta’s refusal to eat meat all season was a huge point of contention, for instance. That may have contributed to their early exit, as they were the first team to be eliminated on September 15. Ultimately, best mates Justin Rolleston and Will Mataka — also from New South Wales — won the competition, walking away with the tasty $100,000 prize money.

Their presentation as bad girls came as something of a surprise to them. In a chat with the Daily Mail, when asked if she expected to be one of the season’s scoundrels, Jacinta replied with a laugh, saying, “Absolutely not! I thought we’d be the funny ones. We genuinely thought we were hilarious.”
Mel concurred, adding, “We’re sassy, sure, but we thought we’d be the jokers. Call us villains, call us whatever.”
The pair also revealed they’d love to do more reality television.
Jacinta and Mel Would Love to Do a Travel-Based Reality Show

Jacinta and Mel’s stint on “My Kitchen Rules” might have been brief, but they had a great time doing the show — they described the experience as “life changing” in an Instagram post. When asked if they’d like to do more television in the future, they answered enthusiastically in the affirmative — and this time they’d like it to be a travel-oriented reality show.
Mel said, “Yes, we’d do another reality show. We love it.”
Jacinta elaborated, saying, “We want to do something travel-based. Travel Guides, maybe even The Amazing Race. Something fun, chaotic and wild. We love chaos.”
“The Amazing Race” is an adventure reality competition show that sees teams of two people racing around the world in competition with other pairs. The show has become a franchise that’s spread around the world, and there are celebrity spin-off versions of it. Jacinta and Mel would certainly make for interesting contestants competing against teams of other well-know stars from the entertainment world.

Jacinta and Mel are loving their newfound fame, having appeared on “My Kitchen Rules,” and recently appeared in the November edition of FHM Australia, which was the Woman of the Year issue.
The glamorous duo stripped down to their bikinis for a photo shoot at Sydney’s Milk Beach for the reimagined FHM edition, which was formerly known as the MAXIM Hot 100.
Jacinta posted about the experience on Instagram, saying in the post’s caption that she was “Completely honoured to be featured in the iconic @fhm_australia November issue!”
The post featured two photos from the shoot, and a video containing a text version of their interview with the publication. Suffice it to say, her followers loved it and were congratulatory about her landing the gig.
One said, “Look amazing hun!!”
Another wrote, “Congratulations!!! 👏❤️”
Someone else commented, “@jacintaradziejewski_mkr use [sic] two look very hot in your bikini’s [sic].”
There was also an assortment of emojis and gifs posted that said everything the commenters in question needed to say. Someone put “❤️❤️❤️,” another user put “😍🔥,” and someone else left a gif of people holding up scorecards saying “10.”
We’d certainly like to see more of Jacinta Radziejewski and Mel Bailey following their appearance on “My Kitchen Rules.” They’re undoubtedly an entertaining duo. Fingers crossed they appear on more reality shows in the near future. We’re excited for it to happen.
