Although Robert Irwin has officially established himself as an international heartthrob, the rumour mill has been hit with whispers of a romance between the wildlife prince and a fellow Dancing With The Stars US troupe member.

From his jaw-dropping, shirt-ripping stunt to his emotional dance with his mother, Terri Irwin, Robert has captured the hearts of audiences worldwide while simultaneously becoming the celebrity crush of many people.

While his influx of new fans has expressed their thirst for Australia’s unofficial prince, a blind item submitted to Deuxmoi has claimed that he may be in cahoots with another DWTS star.

“Everyone’s favourite DWTS bachelor has paused his search for his American dream girl to have some play time beyond the ballroom,” the blind item, submitted under the subject “Oh crikey!”, reads.

“My source tells me he’s been spotted a few times in ****** **** getting cosy with a brunette… the same one he follows around on set.

“Notice how she’s the only troupe member he follows on IG? She’s also been liking some interesting comments on TIkTok.”

While the submission didn’t unveil the troupe member’s name, fans noticed that the “brunette” referenced in the blind item could be Hailey Bills, as Robert follows the dancer on IG.

Hailey’s initial also matches the letter seen under the “Pseudonyms” section of the submission, alongside “R.I.”, which obviously stands for Robert Irwin.

At the time of writing, neither Robert nor Hailey has shared any hints of a blossoming romance. However, the Australia Zoo icon has been open about his yearning for a love story similar to his parents, Steve and Terri Irwin.

Speaking to People ahead of his DWTS debut, Robert confirmed he was single and that he was interested in finding an American partner.

“My mum and dad met when she was an American tourist coming over to Australia, and that’s also how my sister met her husband,” Robert said.

“I’ve been saying, when is that going to happen for me?!”

Will history repeat itself? Well, I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
