EXCLUSIVE: Jan received the first impression rose from Bear on the opening night of The Golden Bachelor – and if Australia had one, it’s likely she’d have scored a double.

Despite not receiving a rose after making it to the final five, Jan has felt nothing but love since leaving the mansion.

“It’s been overwhelming and it sounds silly – I’m gonna cry!” Jan reacted to the outpouring of support she’d received.

“It’s overwhelming, the love, the outreach, the gratitude has been amazing, and it really humbles me.”

Jan didn’t find love with Bear and told 9Entertainment she is “very, very cautious” about jumping back into the dating pool – but she definitely knows where to start.

“I have a Facebook list of people who are wanting to connect that I haven’t even looked at yet. I have pages and pages and pages. I don’t know if there is an interesting man in there,” she laughed.

“I’m ready to get up and go and start all again. So I’ll probably go through the list of people who want to be friends and see if there are any good thoughts in there.”

While she hasn’t been dating, Jan has been keeping busy with lots of work.

The age transformation coach has launched a new program and is preparing for different speaking engagements.

“I’ve been in limbo, but making the best of the time… Let’s just say, I think I’m going to be really busy for a little while!” she teased.

Despite finding an early spark with Bear, Jan said she left the series at the “perfect” time.
“I had a nice interaction with Bear, but I certainly wasn’t as invested as the other ladies were,” she recalled.

“I had a beautiful day with him [on a date at the Sydney Opera House], which was so incredibly special, a once in a lifetime.

“But, you know, there’s a difference between a really lovely date and having a fabulous connection and chemistry with someone, and I’m okay with that.”

Besides, it’s not like she walked away empty-handed.

“I am so blessed to have found so many people who are inspired by me and applaud me. So that’s my takeaway. I’m just blessed.”
