The Block’s Han and Can were left devastated during Sunday night’s nail-biting grand finale after their home failed to sell at auction in Daylesford, Victoria.
The couple were the last contestants to go to auction during the season finale – but despite high hopes and a stunning build, things didn’t work out for the hard-working couple.
‘It doesn’t matter how hard we try, we just always f***ing lose. I am sick of trying,’ the pair vented during the shock auction day finale.
‘We lost a lot of time… the only way we would say it was worth it is if it helped set us up [financially].’
The women admitted they felt ‘physically sick’ as the devastating result of the brutal auction left them penniless.
‘We’re obviously a little disappointed we weren’t able to sell under the hammer today,’ Can told 9Entertainment after the auction.

Despite the setback, Han and Can remained gracious and optimistic, admitting they were proud of what they’d achieved on the gruelling home reno series.
‘Look, it was the best strategy – our agents and auctioneer did everything they could to juice that lemon at the very end,’ Can reflected.
‘It’s been a tough day watching all our fellow contestants go through.’
The pair said that they were ultimately felled by a difficult real estate market.
‘It’s obviously still a little bit of a tough market in Melbourne and in Victoria at the moment, so we’re feeling the effects of that,’ Can told realestate.com.au.
‘It is only just starting to pick up. Hopefully the contestants next year in Mount Eliza have a far better result.’
While they walked away without any profit, the WA couple insisted they were still leaving The Block with something more valuable.
‘We’ve got our health, we’ve got each other. We’re remarkably proud of the home we produced,’ Can said.

Han added they were nevertheless happy they had produced such a beautiful home during their stint on the series.
‘We know the home is beautiful – and yes, it’s a little bit quirky – but there is someone out there that will love it as much as we do,’ she said.
‘It’s just going to take a little bit of time… that’s totally fine.’
The couple concluded they have no regrets about their time on the hit renovation show.
‘We could not have done any more,’ Han said. ‘We’re really proud of ourselves and each other, and that’s all we could do.’
After 49 jam-packed episodes, The Block reached its dramatic conclusion on Sunday, with all five homes going under the hammer.
In a shock result, Western Australian couple Britt and Taz took out the top sale of the day – offloading their stylish House 3 for an impressive $3.41 million.
With a reserve of $2.99 million, the fan favourites walked away $420,000 richer – adding to that, a $100,000 bonus prize, netting them a total $520,000.
But it all went downhill from there.

Fellow renovators Robby and Mat’s South Australian property fetched $3.099million, netting the best mates a meagre $109,999 profit.
The lads were bitterly disappointed with the winning amount, which they will have to split between them.
Meanwhile, Sonny and Alicia sold their home for $3.06 million – $120,000 above their $2.94 million reserve.
Despite the small yield, the couple were happy with the result.
But not everyone walked away with a sale, as both Emma and Ben, and Han and Can, failed to attract enough interest to get their properties over the line.
