Before Robert Irwin hits the stage for his Halloween night on Dancing With the Stars, his mum Terri Irwin has blessed us all with an adorable throwback snap of the Wildlife Warrior. Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Terri, who has been in the US with Robert supporting him throughout his Dancing With the Stars journey, shared a photo of a very young Robert as Peter Pan.

“Halloween night is next @dancingwiththestars,” the mum of two wrote. “I can’t wait to see Robert dance the Argentine Tango with Witney [Carson]. But I do kinda miss my little trick-or-treater!”

She added with a laugh, “Peter Pan for the win!”

Terri also shared a sweet photo of Robert as an even younger child, dressed as a duck, with his late father, Steve Irwin, and his older sister Bindi dressed as a spider.

Terri’s fans loved the snaps, with one person thanking her for sharing them and adding, “I absolutely adore these BTS pics from Robert and Bindi as kids. Your love for them both shines through your posts.”

“He was the cutest thing!” said another. “He still is absolutely precious! You hit the lottery with him. Seems like an amazing young man!”

“It warms my heart no end to see these loving photos with Steve,” a third wrote. “Forever a fan of each and every one of you. Mom, what a great role model. Well done.”

Some also begged for Robert to recreate the Peter Pan look, and others shared their love of Bindi’s “perfect” spider costume.

It comes after Terri shared a sweet video of “Robert’s dance history” over the years, including some nimble footwork while feeding crocodiles and other adorable moves as a young boy in 2008.

“2008 Robert was so adorable! Rockin’ that lil bowl cut,” one fan wrote.

“Watching Robert with his cute bowl cut and seeing his growth is just incredible,” another added.

“I cannot watch this lovely young man without a smile on my face,” wrote a third. “He reminds us all what kindness and decency is.”

Someone else added that Robert’s “always been a cutie patootie”, while many others said that Terri should go on Dancing With the Stars next.
