Nicole Kidman is reportedly seeking “revenge” against Keith Urban via a “young and hot rebound” as the ex-couple’s tit-for-tat takes a bitter turn in the wake of their separation.

Nicole Kidman is reportedly seeking revenge on Keith Urban by preparing to date a “young and hot” rebound, as her ex-husband refuses to disclose details about his alleged new girlfriend.

Urban reportedly moved on with a younger woman in the music industry in the wake of the Aussie A-lister filing for divorce from the country singer after 19 years of marriage in September, citing “irreconcilable differences”.

Rumours surfaced Keith’s new woman was his guitarist Maggie Baugh, 25, after he changed the lyrics of his song The Fighter to mention her.

However, Maggie may be off the cards for Keith as she could already be dating Californian lighting designer Cameron Coley, the Daily Mail reported.

Photos obtained by the publication included a loved-up social media carousel of photos showing Baugh and Coley kissing, with the lighting designer taking to the caption to write: “1 year my love… a lifetime more.”

With Maggie unlikely to be Keith’s new beau, a source told Radar Online the country crooner is remaining tight-lipped about the identity of his mystery woman and has neither confirmed nor denied the rumours.

“Keith is refusing to come clean about what’s really going on but everyone is saying there’s another woman and all signs are pointing to it being this much younger guitar player,” the source said on Saturday.

A separate insider told the publication Kidman was taking a no-holds-barred approach to her ex-husband’s refusal to disclose his girlfriend.

She is said to be turning up the heat by proving she can also move on.

“Nicole’s ready to turn this into a tit-for-tat game, with her trying to show him up by hooking up with someone young and hot,” the insider said.

“She’s still very focused on Keith, but her friends are hoping that once she actually does get with another man it will help her get past this betrayal.”

The Babygirl actresses’ friends are also said to be offering to “set” the blonde bombshell up with a new match, but she won’t be flaunting him.

It’s understood Kidman, who was previously married to Tom Cruise from 1990 to 2001, is in no hurry to find another serious relationship soon.

She is keeping herself busy after separating from Keith, having joined the cast of Osgood Perkins’ The Young People, Variety reported on Monday.

Kidman will add Oscar-winning talent to the fashionable horror film lineup, featuring Lola Tung, Nico Parker, Brendan Jumbo, Heather Graham, Johnny Knoxville, Lexi Minetree, Lily Collias, and Tatiana Maslany.

In recent weeks, rumours emerged Urban was fed up with Nicole’s relentless work schedule or the Grammy winner had grown weary of his wife’s greater global fame in the lead up to their divorce.

Ironically, the marriage breakdown coincided with the success of Kidman’s steamy thriller Babygirl, which featured explicit nudity and explored a female CEO’s affair with an intern.

Urban and Kidman, both 58, married on the grounds of St Patrick’s Estate in the Sydney suburb of Manly in 2006 in one of the highest profile celebrity weddings of the decade.

The couple share biological daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14, while Nicole has two adult adopted children from her marriage to Cruise.
