Radio shock jock Kyle Sandilands has revealed the amount of money he was paid for a cameo in the upcoming Aussie movie Zombie Plane, featuring Chuck Norris.
Sandilands, 54, said on The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Thursday morning that he was paid $5,000 to star alongside Ice-T, Vanilla Ice and Aussie actress Sophie Monk.
The radio host said he spent more than he was paid just flying to the Gold Coast to film, branding the payout a “pathetic amount”.

“I know I didn’t want to get paid because it was a pathetic amount, then they said by law we have to pay you,” Sandilands said.
“It was like, five grand or something like that… I think it cost me about $15,000 because I travel my own way, stay in my own accommodation and I had to get a separate boat to sit on.”
It was never about the money for Sandilands, who wanted to do the project to film with rapper Ice T.
Sandilands said they had a stipulation that whatever he recorded for the movie had to make it into the final cut.

“I’m not coming up here to sit on the cutting room floor,” he said.
Zombie Plane is an “outrageous” and over-the-top action comedy, according to IMDB.
It follows an undercover agent, Ice Man (Vanilla Ice), who is sent to intercept a briefcase carrying a deadly zombie contagion on a flight from Sydney to LA.

The virus leaks mid-flight, causing a zombie outbreak and uprising, forcing Ice Man to team up with Sophie Monk and other passengers to try and contain the virus before the U.S. military blows the plane out of the sky.
The upcoming Aussie comedy features Chuck Norris playing himself, as well as heaps of other celebrity cameos, including Aussie singer and swimmer Cody Simpson, US actor Brian Austin Green and Kyle Sandilands.
Zombie Plane will be released in both US and Australian Theatres on November 13.
