Despite Bear’s admission that life in the spotlight might not be for him long-term, he’s gotten used to being recognised and had a message for fans of the show:

“It’s very strange but exciting and I’m very open – and I may regret saying this, but anyone who wants to come up and say hello, they’re more than welcome.”

The father of three said, “I’m a pretty big guy, so not a lot of people approach me, but there’s a few that do, and it’s very surreal.”

Having 20 interesting and beautiful women vie for his affections in the Golden Bachelor mansion has also been a new experience.

“It’s crazy. It’s fun, I don’t mind the attention once-and-a-while but it’s pretty crazy!” he admitted.

On The Golden Bachelor, just five ladies remain in Bear’s search for the person he wants to spend the rest of his life with: Gera, Jan, Janette, Kim and Sunny.

Bear has built strong connections with them all, so his journey to his finale choice is bound to be full of romance, soul-searching and tough decisions.

In a sneak peek offering a first glimpse at the stunning finale, it’s clear that the journey has worked just as he hoped.

“So you’ve found the one?” host Samantha Armytage asks.

“I’m in love,” Bear confirms.

Who will it be? Stay tuned for the final two weeks of The Golden Bachelor to find out!
