Barry ‘Bear’ Myrden was sensationally rejected by one of his love interests on Monday’s episode of The Golden Bachelor.

Terri, 61, refused a rose at the weekly Rose Ceremony, to gasps from the other ladies – before announcing that she was leaving the show.

‘I thought long and hard about it. I’m not going to accept your rose,’ the Property Investor from Victoria told a stunned Bear.

The 61-year-old silver fox quickly whisked her away to talk privately, with Terri confessing: ‘It’s so emotional. I just don’t want to get hurt. It’s just such a big emotional rollercoaster.’

Bear comforted her, saying, ‘I just can only imagine how you must be feeling. My heart goes out to you.’

Terri was tearful as she explained her decision, revealing that while she had observed Bear make a connection with other ladies, that same spark was lacking between the two of them – leaving her in fear of getting hurt.

‘I’m grateful for these women that I’ve gotten to know. It just shows to me that there are so many (romances) that are just blooming,’ she said.

‘I’m really grateful for my time with Bear, and every moment I spoke to him. But I know what he’s got, and I’m just not there.’

Terri then left the show, with the other women absolutely shocked by what had transpired.

The episode was rocked by a mass exodus, with five women sent home at the start of the cliff-hanger episode, and two more culled by the end.

Only Sunny, Kim, Janette, Gera and Jan are left in the running to win Bear’s heart.

It comes after a new report alleged that Myrden was engaged to another woman following the death of his wife Audrey despite claims he remained single.

The reality TV star, 61, has been portrayed on the dating series as having been single for 14 years after Audrey’s death.

However, Bear has reportedly had two significant relationships following Audrey’s death in 2012 – and was even engaged to one of the women, Woman’s Day claimed on Monday.

‘Bear was in a six-year relationship with his ex-fiancée… and then had a two-year relationship with another woman after that,’ an insider told the magazine.

However, at least one of the relationships is said to have ended on bad terms, resulting in the woman posting Bear’s photo onto the Sis, Is This Your Man? Facebook group, in which users warn each other about men with dating ‘red flags’.

At the beginning of Monday’s episode, Bear was introduced to viewers as a father of three boys –  Charlie, 21, Jack, 20, and Declan, 17 – who had emigrated from Canada to Australia with Audrey two decades ago.

Bear then revealed that tragically, his wife was diagnosed with a ‘brain tumour which turned the family’s world upside down.’

‘Audrey was more than one in a million; she was one in six billion,’ he said.
