Former MAFS stars Martha Kalifatidis and Michael Brunelli have announced they’re expecting their second child. The reality stars share a son, Lucius, two, and shared the news to their fans on social media on Wednesday.

Martha shared a sweet video of Lucius kissing her bump and revealed in the caption that she is once again battling hyperemesis gravidarum. She previously suffered from the severe form of morning sickness while pregnant with Lucius, and it saw her lose 10kg in the first five weeks due to severe chronic nausea and vomiting.

“Knocked up n’ knocked out. Will be back bigger (🤰🏻) and better soon… fingers crossed!” she captioned the post.

The couple’s famous friends and fans shared their congratulations, with The Bachelor’s Laura Byrne, who recently welcomed her third daughter with husband Matty J, writing, “I hope this pregnancy is so much smoother than the last.

“Genuinely yelled with excitement for you both!” MAFS star Jack Millar, who recently welcomed his second baby, said. “Congrats!!!! Woooooo.”

“I had this feeling because Martha disappeared, congratulations guys,” one person added.

Interestingly, many people thought Michael had been hinting that they were expecting their second child just three weeks ago when he shared a post celebrating the last seven years with Martha.

He included major moments, including their time meeting on MAFS, moving to Sydney together, their engagement in 2021, and discovering they were pregnant in 2022 with Lucius.

The reality star also shared key moments from Lucius’ life, like birthdays, his christening, and overseas trips.

Michael ended the slideshow of photos with the caption, “July 2025: Looch in Dubai… with more memories coming.”

Many of his followers were convinced that this meant Martha was pregnant, with one person writing, “I could swear I was going to get to the last slide and see pregnancy announcement number two.

“Looking forward to hearing about it when you guys are ready.”

One person also noticed that Michael had added a blue and a pink heart to his caption, “Am I the only one taking in the 2 hearts?”
