Country singer Keith Urban has had an extreme reaction at his latest concert after hearing the name “Nicole” while on stage.

Keith Urban has had an awkward mid-show moment with a fan at his latest concert in Nashville.

In a video on TikTok, Urban can be heard having a conversation with a fan during his concert during his High and Alive tour.

“I’m not going to like your name?” Urban can be heard asking the fan. She then responded, “It’s Nicole.”

After hearing her name, the crowd laughed, and Urban fell backward, lying on the stage for a few seconds.

He proceeded to get up and sidestepped the apparent reference to Nicole Kidman by asking the fan, “Did you say Nicole Richie?”

Urban then moved on and jumped into the crowd speaking with a fan as she announced her pregnancy with the singer after she and her sister had travelled from South Carolina, where he had cancelled a show at the last minute, to attend his Nashville concert.

The awkward on-stage moment comes after Kidman, 58, filed for divorce from Urban on September 30, following 19 years of marriage.

Court documents revealed Kidman cited “irreconcilable differences” leading to the split.

According to an inside source, Urban is “in hiding” as he grapples with “embarrassment” over his divorce.

The source told Woman’s Day this week the country singer, 57, is avoiding red carpet appearances amid scrutiny over his high-profile break-up with the Oscar-winning actress.

“Things are just too awkward right now, and Keith just doesn’t have the confidence to face all the press,” the insider told the publication.

“Part of him is embarrassed to show his face on a red carpet until things settle down with his divorce.

“The last thing he needs is to overshadow his new show with all his personal issues.”
