Bear and Sunny got their happily ever after in a heart-racing finale of The Golden Bachelor.

Bear and Sunny

Bear and Sunny spent the night at home together watching their love story play out on the small screen.

“After 7 months of dating in secret, we can finally be public and tell the world we are happily together! 🥰🌹❤️,” Sunny captioned a post of her and Bear.

He celebrated the occassion with a beautiful bouquet of flowers.

Bear and Sunny were joined by her two daughters Chloe and Penelope who’ve been very supportive of their mum’s journey to find love.

As the happy couple enjoyed being able to “shout from the rooftops”, fans rallied around them.

“The best news ever !!! 🥹💗 So happy you both found love !!!!” one fan commented.

Another wrote: “My whole heart ❤️ I saw that love glow on Thursday night 😢❤️ what a lucky man.”

While a third said: “I had a feeling!! I’m so happy for you guys!!!💗💗”

Janette breaks her silence

Things might not have panned out the way that Janette had hoped but she assured her fans she had absolutely no regrets.

She penned this lengthy message to her followers:

“So the show has finished, and the emotions I felt watching it, wow. Reliving it all, seeing the connections, seeing myself through fresh eyes, I realise I handled everything exactly as me.

“I was true to myself. Authentic. Not introverted, not insecure, just a woman who holds her feelings close until she knows they’re safe to share, and mutual.

“The support I’ve received along the way has honestly blown me away, friends, strangers, women I’ve never met reaching out with such kindness.

“And tonight, as the messages pour in, I want you to know how much your words have meant. I’m okay, truly, and I’m grateful for every bit of care you’ve shown.

“I’ve always believed this: What is meant for you will never go past you. And watching it all back, that feels more true than ever.

“I’m genuinely happy for Sunny and Bear, and I wish them love, happiness, and dreams that come true.

“No regrets. Just gratitude. And when a story completes itself, the heart makes room for the one that’s meant to follow.”

Janette breaks her silence

Fans flocked to the comment section of Janette’s post to show their support and unsurprisingly their campaigning for her to be Australia’s first Golden Bachelorette.

When 9Entertainment asked Janette if she would be keen to jump at an opportunity to lead her own season she responded with a very enthusiastic ‘Yes!’

One fan commented on Janette’s post: “You were beautiful through the whole season. You were all class.”

While another said: “One word, QUEEN.”

Kim

The nation let out a collective gasp as Kim was sent home just shy of the finale.

The military doctor has returned to her life in Brisbane since.

In November 2025, the car enthusiast shared a picture of herself at the RAAF base in Amberley where her late husband is laid to rest.

“I have a love hate relationship with the F111. After 18 months of not being able to get on base, I got to visit Shorty’s resting place, with Stew Morgan plaque watching over him,” she wrote.

Kim

Kim also got all dolled up for a day at the races with the rest of the ladies.

With her glam done by Sara Murphy Makeup, Kim said this: “I absolutely loved how softly you did my make up to suit my gorgeous pink silk Pia Du Pradal dress!! I felt wonderful. Thank you.”

Jan

Jan was one of the front-runners vying for Bear’s heart.

She was the first of the group to receive a ‘First Impression Rose’ but was the fourth last to be sent home.

She took to her stories to answer the one question fans had been asking non-stop: Why did she go on The Golden Bachelor in the first place?

She said simply “because I love to challenge myself”.

Otherwise Jan has returned to bodybuilding and has started her very own online coaching program.

Jan also told 9Entertainment she is “very, very cautious” about jumping back into the dating pool – but she definitely knows where to start.

“I have a Facebook list of people who are wanting to connect that I haven’t even looked at yet. I have pages and pages and pages. I don’t know if there is an interesting man in there,” she laughed.

“I’m ready to get up and go and start all again. So I’ll probably go through the list of people who want to be friends and see if there are any good thoughts in there.”

Samantha Armytage

Host Samantha Armytage shared some behind-the-scenes snaps from the filming of the finale in South Africa.

“And that… is a wrap on the very first Australian season of The Golden Bachelor ❤️‍🔥What an amazing ride ~ & a wonderful result (no spoiler yet, for other states!)Thank you to ALL of you for tuning in, in ’25 xx,” she captioned the carousel of photos.

Gera

After establishing a connection with Bear on their single date, Gera managed to stay until the second last rose ceremony.

In the end she hadn’t opened up as much as some of the other women.

Not being chosen was no skin off Gera’s nose, she’s been living her best life in Ibiza!

Catherine

Confident Catherine certainly made her mark on the series.

She stepped out in this glam look at the Spring Carnival races in November 2025.

Catherine is well and truly back in the swing of life and doing what she loves most – working out at the gym.

Bianca

Bianca laughed her whole way through the season and had viewers cracking up the entire time too!

Many fans have petitioned Bianca for a possible Golden Bachelorette.

Since the end of Bear’s season, the radio host has opened up about being diagnosed with ADHD and how it’s helped her better understand herself later in life.

Elizete

Elizete had her hips shaking the entire time but she also found time to make friends for life.

Looks like Elizete and Sunny are joined at the hip too!

Terri

Terri turned The Golden Bachelor on its head when she rejected Bear at the fifth rose ceremony.

Taking to Instagram as the season came to an end she shared this lengthy message:

“I would like to give my heartfelt thanks to Channel 9 and the amazing crew. All the beautiful women I met on The Golden Bachelor.

“This journey was emotional in ways I never expected, confronting at times, healing in moments, and full of laughter and connection. It truly meant more to me than I can put into words.

“To my amazing family and friends, thank you for loving me through every high and low. And to the special someone who gave me that little push into this adventure, Well look at what you started!

“This experience reminded me that even when life feels overwhelming, beautiful things can still find us… and sometimes, they show up when we least expect them.

“And of course, thank you to our Bachelor — this journey wouldn’t have existed without 🌹”

None of the women left the mansion at a loss when they walked away with life-long friendships like these.
