Allison Langdon proved she’s every bit the down-to-earth mum as she enjoyed a refreshing ocean dip after dropping her daughter off at dance class over the weekend.

The A Current Affair host, 46, was spotted hitting the beach for a catch-up with a friend, looking relaxed and glowing as she cooled off in the surf on a warm Sydney morning.

Wearing a sporty black Speedo one-piece with bright blue and orange panels, Ally smiled as she waded through the whitewash, her hair tied back in a simple ponytail.

She accessorised with stacked bracelets and minimal makeup, letting her natural beauty shine through.

At one point she was seen chatting with a friend on the sand, still in her swimsuit.

She later threw on an oversized pale blue shirt, denim cut-offs and a navy baseball cap as she made her way back up the path with a large orange beach bag, towel and drink bottle in hand.

Sunglasses and casual slides completed her easy, beachside look.

The mother of two shares son Mack, seven, and daughter Scout, five, with husband Michael Willesee Jr, and the pair are known for keeping family life relatively low-key.

Ally has spoken often about the joy of raising her young children and balancing her busy television career with the day-to-day demands of parenting.

But it’s been a huge professional era for Langdon, who has just been announced as one of the lead hosts for Channel Nine’s coverage of the 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

The network confirmed the ACA presenter will front the broadcast alongside James Bracey, with Leila McKinnon and Todd Woodbridge joining the commentary team.

Sylvia Jeffreys and Dylan Alcott will deliver morning coverage from Sydney.

The Opening Ceremony for the Milano Cortina Games will take place on February 6, 2026, with the Paralympics kicking off a month later on March 6.

The coveted Olympic hosting role is the latest milestone in Ally’s impressive career.

She is best known for her position at A Current Affair, taking over the reins in January 2023 after departing the Today show following a three-year stint.

Last year Ally picked up a Silver Logie for Best News or Current Affairs Presenter, beating out some of the industry’s biggest names including David Speers, Sarah Ferguson, Liz Hayes, Peter Overton and Michael Usher.

During her emotional acceptance speech, Ally paid tribute to her predecessor Tracy Grimshaw and addressed critics who had taken shots at ACA.

‘To Trace who I love, she’s the one who always said the people who don’t like our show, don’t know our show,’ she said.

She also thanked the hosts who came before her, adding: ‘To Mike Munro, Ray Martin, and everyone who has been in this role, thank you.’

Reflecting on her win, she told the audience she pours her heart and soul into every story she takes on.

‘When you hear all the nominees, you definitely don’t expect yours to be the one called out,’ she said.

‘Everything we do is with heart and soul. If a story doesn’t have heart and soul, we just don’t do it.

‘I look at those who’ve sat in this chair before me, right back to my father-in-law Mike Willesee who started this show. It would be wonderful if he could have seen the family connection and where that played out.’
