He’s reveals whether his former reality TV stint helped him get in the house.

Big Brother Australia’s Vinnie Brigante has hit back after a rumour started circulating that his previous appearance on Deal or No Deal led to him entering the house.
As reported by PEDESTRIAN.TV, the reality TV contestant accepted the banker’s offer of $18,800, only to find out he had $50,000 in his case. Ouch.
Vinnie tells Chattr the rumblings that his appearance on Channel 10’s Deal or No Deal in 2024 influenced the Big Brother Australia casting is “not true at all”.
“I applied like everyone else did. I went through the whole application process, and when the conversation was had about me being on another show [previously], I told them,” he says.
“Obviously, it’s the same network, so they would have known me pretty early on… but there was no direct relationship between the two.”
Some fans have called out Vinnie for chasing reality TV stardom, but he says it was Big Brother itself that called his name, not just reality TV in general.
“Everyone that applied for Big Brother, wanted to be on Big Brother,” he responds. “I wanted to be on Big Brother. It’s a fun show. It’s the best social experiment in the world.”
He says if there’s another chance to join a future Big Brother Australia season, he would jump at the chance. “I recommend more people to apply. You know, reality TV aside, I just wanted to be in a social experiment and just see how I went. It was very, very fun [and] amazing.”

Are there other reality TV shows Vinnie would do?
While Big Brother Australia was Vinnie’s dream show, he hasn’t closed the door on reality TV altogether.
“If the right show and the right fit came along, why not? I don’t know how I’d go about eating cockroaches in the jungle, but I would give it a go,” he spills.
“I like to dance, so that could be an avenue I’d go down. I’d go in the jungle. Yeah, I’ll keep the opportunities open.”

He also floats the idea of his mum and brother doing a cooking show like My Kitchen Rules or MasterChef Australia, and says his stepdad needs to get on The Block.
What I’m hearing is that Vinnie’s Italian family could be Australia’s answer to The Kardashians? Let’s make it happen!
