It’s been just days since The Block 2025 Auction Day but we’ve already had some big updates from our stars!

With many highs and many lows on the big day, there is still plenty of buzz from Daylesford.

Following the dramatic results, which saw two homes passed in and Britt and Taz crowned winners, the Blockheads have taken time to post about their experiences.

From Emma and Ben reacting to House 1’s failed auction to Robby and Mat’s big announcement, there’s already a lot to report!

Emma and Ben

Emma and Ben were the most positive couple on The Block, and they kept that smiley energy right through to the end – even when things didn’t go their way.

The pair had to pass in House 1 on Auction Day, leaving the finale with no profit while they hope the house sells in the coming weeks.

Despite the tough end to their experience, in their first post since the auction Emma and Ben said they wouldn’t have done anything differently.

“Well that’s a wrap on #TheBlock 2025. What an incredible experience 🥰🛠️🏡” they began.

“Not exactly the fairy tale ending we’d hoped for ~ but the friendships, adventures and memories we made along the way was bloody worth every second of it. 🩵 Can’t wait to see where our next adventure will take us.”

The post got a big response, including from fellow Blockhead Alicia.

“Love you guys ❤️ I know so many amazing things are just around the corner for you guys x” she responded.

Speaking of what comes next, Emma and Ben are already onto their next, most exciting adventure yet…

They didn’t walk away from the auction with life-changing money, but as Emma shared they’re still “rich in love” after becoming first-time parents.

Em shared this photo of Ben with their baby boy, Bailey, who arrived four weeks early on September 25.

“Happy due date Bails,” she wrote, with hashtags ‘#family’ and ‘#happyem’.

When Emma announced her pregnancy a few weeks into the season, whether Bailey would be present at the auction was up in the air – his due date was a couple of days after the big day, after all!

No rest for the wicked!

Emma and Ben teased that they were jumping straight back into another exciting project as well.

Judging by these hints, we’re going to take a wild guess that whatever they are, they’re reno related!

Robby and Mat

After the auction of House 5, which earned best mates Robby and Mat $109,999, the boys filmed a thank you video reflecting on their incredible journey.

“We just want to say a big thank you to everyone at home that laughed with us, at us,” Robby began.

“Laughed with nana’s bedhead,” Mat added.

“The trials, the tribulations, the highs, the low, mate, we have the time of our lives and we’re very, very grateful.”

They thanked their build team, real estate agent Kim McQueen and auctioneer Tom Panos before hinting at something exciting…

“We’ve loved every experience and thank you for joining us along the way,” Mat continued.

“Who knows. you might to see us again soon…” Robby added.

How’s that for a tease?!

Sonny and Alicia

After walking away with $120,000 profit, Sonny and Alicia reflected on another part of their Block journey – the friendships!

“From the misfits of the Rex Challenge to best mates come auction day!” they shared, alongside a photo with Houses 2 and 5.

While Sonny and Alicia found themselves at odds with Han and Can during the Hepburn Bathhouse & Spa Challenge, that was well-and-truly water under the bridge now.

In fact, they named the House 2 pair as one of their strongest relationships.

“Our ride wouldn’t have been the same without House 2 & 5! We may now be divided by states but these friendships will last a life time! Now whose house is the after party at?! #theblock #house4”

Of course, the couple were also delighted with their cash!

The Block auctions have been and gone for another year. It was a day full emotions and feelings for our other contestants. We are so happy our team from Biggin Scott got us over the line. A profit of $120000,” they celebrated.

Although, it was a bittersweet day as two homes were passed in.

“We can’t help but feel for our mates who were not as successful,” they shared.

“We have thoroughly enjoyed our time on the block and want to take this opportunity to thank our family, all of our trades, all of the crew, our real estate agents and all of our supporters.”

Darren Palmer

It’s not everyday we get to see the Blockheads and judges mingle like this!

This little insight is courtesy of Darren Palmer as he reflected on the Daylesford season.

“For sure we’ve had more upbeat endings, but @theblock 2025 really was a good one,” Darren said.

“Daylesford was a gorgeous location, the homes created are great and if there’s one thing I can say with certainty from my perspective is that we had a lot of fun creating this season for you.”

It sure does look like it!
