Auction day on The Block 2025 hasn’t even happened yet, but we’re already looking ahead to the 2026 season as Channel Nine confirms its filming location.

Little has been revealed about The Block 2026, but below we’re answering all your burning questions about the renovation series new filming location.

Where is The Block 2026 going to be filmed?

The Block is returning to Victoria next year, filming to the Mornington Pennisula suburb of Mount Eliza.

Mount Eliza is just an hour drive outside of Melbourne city.

According to the Herald Sun, six blocks located at 109 Mornington Road were purchased by Channel Nine in August 2025 following “extensive negotiation.”

The publication also reported the land has been on sale since roughly 2016, purchased for $2.8 million in 2007 and sold for $11 million.

“We’ve got a great block with views straight over the bay. It’s going to be fantastic. Great little town, and we’re really excited to get there,” Scotty said.

Mount Eliza also happens to be close to the home of 2025 contestants, Emma and Ben.

“So next year is actually going to be in Mount Eliza, which is like, five minutes from where we live,” Emma told Yahoo Lifestyle . “So yeah, we’re going to be hanging around like a bad smell.”

What is Mount Eliza known for?

Mount Eliza has some great spots for every kind of traveller.

Being a coastal town, Mount Eliza has many beautiful beach-side views. Some of the best beaches include Canadian Bay Beach, Daveys Bay, and Moondah Beach.

For the nature lovers, the Mt Eliza Regional Park includes peaceful walkways and facilities for picnics.

Meanwhile, history buffs will have a field day with the scenic Mornington Tourist Railway, Manyung Gallery, Baluk Arts featuring local Aboriginal art.

Does The Block always film in Victoria?

In the last few years, Channel Nine has remained loyal to the Australian state, Victoria.

Mostly, The Block is filmed in Melbourne and it’s surrounding suburbs. But the renovation series has ventured out to regional Victoria including Phillip Island, Gisborne, and Daylesford.

However, there were some seasons filmed in Sydney, New South Wales. The first season was filmed in Bondi Beach, season two was filmed in Manly, followed by season three in Vaucluse.

The Block also returned to Bondi Beach for it’s tenth anniversary.

Unfortunately, the show has not filmed in Queensland, South Australia, Northern Territory or Western Australia.
