It was a ‘silly’ challenge that had our Blockheads running through obstacle courses, diving in sand pits and finger-painting – but the Tradie Games went seriously wrong for Han and Can.

By the end of the event, things had gone so pear shaped they had Han declaring “can we leave please? I’m going to lose my s–t”.

After losing the Tradie Games challenge in dramatic fashion, Han found herself questioning not only the result but her spot in the competition.

The hilarious challenge involved five rounds of ridiculous challenges, each with the ability to accumulate points.

Top of the leader board at the end took home $10,000 cash, $10,000 worth of mature trees, a trophy and title of the Silliest Sausage on The Block.
Everything was overseen by Queen Shell, King Scotty and of course, Princess Frankie. (Nine)
After the first four rounds, and some furious competition mostly from Han’s perspective, she and Can had earned an enviable lead and looked to have the win in the bag.

But then came a curveball courtesy of the king: the final round, a wheelbarrow race transporting water from one end of an obstacle course to another, would be worth double points.

“I’m sorry but they’d doubled the points because we had a clear lead. Even if we came last we would’ve won so for me, I was ticked off,” Han reacted.

Then the wheelbarrow race began and while Han immediately got them a commanding lead, but that was the only positive part of the race for the couple.

First, they “stacked it” on two large ditches in the sand, losing a crucial amount of water in the process.

Then after making it across the seesaw, they tipped the remainder into the bucket… only to realise it wasn’t their assigned bucket, but Britt and Taz’s instead.

Emma and Ben literally fall over with laughter, as Queen Shelley Craft yelled a command: “Just pick up the bucket Han, and move it!”

Han and Can took her advice and quickly switched the tubs – only to cause yet another mishap, tipping it upwards and sending the water tumbling out with just seconds remaining.

Watching all of this play out were five teams of Block All Stars, 2022’s Tom and Sarah-Jane, 2018’s Bianca and Carla, 2023’s Eliza and Liberty, 2020’s Sarah and George and 2019’s Jesse and Mel, and they couldn’t contain themselves.

After all that, Sonny and Alicia were announced winners of the Tradie Games, leaving Han especially devastated.

As most of the teams and the All Stars headed back to site for a tour of the homes, Han and Can stayed behind to work through the emotional loss.

“I think the whole thing’s rigged,” Han reacted.

Breaking down in front of a member of production, she said House 2’s budget issues were getting to her.

“We want to win because we’re f–king broke,” she cried.

“There’s only so long you can stay positive. It’s hard to enjoy it when you don’t have money, you’re broke and you get close to it then it’s just taken away.”
