They were also the first team to put their house under the hammer where, after a nerve-wracking start, they secured a whopping $420,000 over reserve after a mysterious phone bidder snapped up their property.

In a heart-racing auction, the WA parents held their breath as a secret phone bidder entered a bidding war with millionaire and Block royalty Danny Wallis.

Their Daylesford property sold for $3,410,000 and Britt and Taz walked away with $420,000 profit.

“For us that’s life-changing, 100 per cent,” Britt beamed.

“It means we don’t have to work as hard, in hard spots, we can just breathe,” Britt said.

“This is who we did it for,” smiled the parents, holding their two young children in their arms.

“To set these guys up was our biggest plan and we’ve been able to achieve that today.”

For Taz, his dream is to see his kids grow up comfortably and to value time as a family.

“The coppers watching at home know how hard it is to be a parent and a cop, so it would be great to spend more time with them,” said the dad.

Looking back on their journey, Taz added: “I don’t think we would ever be in this position.
