After Mickey Rourke made a homophobic comment toward JoJo Siwa on Celebrity Big Brother UK, Bella Thorne came to her defense, alleging Rourke bruised her pelvic bone while filming a 2020 movie.

Bella Thorne is stepping up for JoJo Siwa.

Days after Mickey Rourke made a homophobic comment directed at the Dance Moms star while filming Celebrity Big Brother UK, the Shake It Up alum shared her own negative experience working with Rourke.

“This f–king dude,” Thorne wrote on her Instagram Story April 10 in response to Rouke’s recent statements. “GROSS.”

The 27-year-old went on to detail her own experience working with Rourke in 2020 on the film Girl.

“I had to work with this man in a scene with my hands zip tied around my back,” Thorne recalled. “He’s supposed to take a metal grinder to my knee cap and instead he used it on my genitals thru [sic] my jeans. Hitting them over and over again.”

In the scene Thorne is referencing from the 2020 horror film, Rourke raises a metal grinder to an area much higher than her kneecaps.

“I had bruises all over my pelvic bone,” she recalled. “Working with Mickey was one of the all time worst experiences of my life working as an actress.”

Later, Thorne noted that she had “so many” negative memories from shooting with Rourke in a subsequent post on X.

“I guess he thought it was funny to humiliate me in front of the entire crew,” Thorne recalled, noting she even at one point had to “beg,” the actor to finish the shoot, adding, “Everyone’s work would’ve just been lost and completely for nothing.

I didn’t wanna do it. I was uncomfortable, but I did what I was asked to do and what was best for the movie.”

As she put it, “Mickey should’ve never put anybody in that movie in any of those positions that he did.”

E! News has reached out to reps for Rourke as well as Girl’s production company Screen Media Films but has not yet heard back.

Thorne’s comments come just days after clips of Siwa being berated by Rourke on the set of Celebrity Big Brother went viral.

“If I stay longer than four days you won’t be gay anymore,” Rourke said to Siwa—who recently went public with partner Kath Ebbs—in a clip shared on X, to which the professional dancer replied, “I can guarantee I will still be gay and I will still be in a very happy relationship.”

Then, Rourke replied to Siwa, “I’ll tie you up.”

Later, after learning the rules of Celebrity Big Brother UK, Rourke said, “I’m gonna vote the lesbian out.”

Siwa, remaining composed, replied, “That’s homophobic.”

And when Rourke also referred to Siwa as a homophobic slur, she told another castmate, Chris Hughes, “It’s crazy to me that that still exists.”

The Celebrity Big Brother UK producers gave Rourke a warning following the interaction and told him he would be removed from the series if he exhibited “further language or behavior of this nature.”
